  • Okies surely someone can help me on this.


    My son LOVES cards.   Samuel is just thrilled with trading cards.   And as its a way to subtley encourage his reading I'm okay with it.


    But I have absolutely NO clue whats in. etc.  


    Rob for reasons I'm not willing to discuss in hesitant about D&D cards.   But I know there's lots of other options.  Any one have a little boy who collects them?   Any one recommend anything.


    I don't even know how to begin to research..........

  • When I go to Toys R Us I see buttloads of Yu-Gi-Oh. And I got Emma's Kieran LOTR cards a year or so ago which he really loved. There's a fantastic set for $20 at Toys R Us -- well, there is here. LOL. OH! And there's this amazing Star Wars card thing out that I saw at Target that boggled my mind -- it's like Strategy, but with cards -- or maybe it's like D&D... I dunno... was never a gamer. ROFL. But I thought those were really cool too.

  • Baseball cards? Does he likes sports of any kind? I've heard, but have no idea since I we don't watch the show, that the Yu-G-Oh ones are along the same lines as D&D but you'd have to look into that.

  • WHOA! Those cards are cool! The ones in the link. Wow!

  • Chad's into football cards.  I'd advise against Yu-gi-oh.  I've heard bad things about the whole Yugioh thing.
