well its not fixed. I will be taking the tower to a computer techy tomorrow. And will be offline probably a week.
The real question is HOW will I survive???????
If it looks like it will be longer then that we have money saved up for a new computer and we'll be getting it ASAP.
I have the problem narrowed down. And I'd love to uninstall Norton....
it won't let me.
The computer crashes each time.
We went and upgraded Norton to '05...but doesn't do us any good until we can get the old one off.
Definitely out of my league. *sigh*
I guess theirs another lesson I'm supposed to be learning here.
Wish I could learn it fast!

re-load your norton anti virus software, do any upgrades that norton recommends. turn off your firewall while doing anything with anti-virus and stay away from adware- it has backdoors that will bring more ads to your computer without you knowing. good luck
