  • Its a boy!  Born Tuesday night 11:14 pm.   I went into be induced at 1 pm...about 6 hours later then originally planned.

My midwife checked my cervix about 2:15 to decide how we were going to induce and my water ruptured on her.  *snicker*

That settled the options and we went with the pit.

The pit was put in at 3:00 and labor started about 6:15.     So math wise I was in "real" labor for 5 hours.

    Pushing wise????

    9 minutes.

    Yup 9.

    I know its disgusting.

    What did I push out????

    A 10 pound 15 ounce baby boy.

    Lets all groan together k?????

Man I am so glad I did not wait until he was 2 weeks overdue.  ROFL  Although 1 more ounce and I could brag about an 11 pounder...

My o.b. refers to Jeremiah as an 11 pounder.   Snigger.

He's healthy, and we're recovering.  I got home this morning slept, and then went to my moms house for Thanksgiving.    I laid on the recliner chair and was served.  *grin*

We came home about 4:30-5:00 and I grabbed a couple more hours of sleep.

I only drug myself out of bed long enough to tell all of you wondering/worrying and I'm headed back to bed.

I am going to stay there until Rob has to go to work next Wednesday night.  LOL

I have only a week to recover.

    But tis okay.

    Cause I didn't hemoraghe.

I didn't tear.  (One count em one whole stitch)

And my bleeding is already to a bear minimum.

    Easiest delivery I've had.

And yes God was definitely a miracle worker.

And I'm still in shock that things went so well.

Oh inches??  He's 24 inches long.

    Yup OUCH!

He had a hard time nursing yesterday, but seems to be figuring it out now.

He's struggling with some reflux issues in which he rather struggles to breathe.   But as soon as we sit him up and pat him it straightens out.  We'll be watching him closely.    As he *is* Rainee's brother.

The pediatrician is being very thorough and watching him very closely.  My lovely and favorite Dr. W has been superb.  And told me I had every right to be anxious.  And no matter what question big or small I had this weekend he was on call all weekend and I was to call him.  *grin*

We will take Miah in Saturday and if the reflux thing has continued will discuss it then.   If it gets worse we'll call sooner.

And there he is....all of 5 minutes old.    For all of his size he really is not fat.  Rainee was fat.  LOL   He's just Built...like a tank.

And there he is this morning ready to go home.

    I'll be back.....eventually.
