• gah!  Just spent 30 minutes doing a blog...and uploading pictures.  And wa-la  I-explore has caused a error, I-explore will now close.

  
  

  Bangs head soundly on desk.   Fortunately the pictures ARE uploaded.  Unfortunately I have no patience to make witty comments again

  
  

  So we went walking this morning.  And it was beautiful.    We went on a small part of the Discovery Trail that we knew from previous experience would be covered in maple leaves.  It was *grin*  And gorgeous.  

  
  

                              

  
  

  The kids had great fun throwing the leaves up in the air and running and kicking them.    The hike was a bit shorter then I wanted as I started hurting  Its all rather pathetic how badly out of shape I am in after so much down time.  *growls*

  
  

                    

  
  

   

  
  

                  

  
  

  The kids smiles were just rather contagious however.   Or maybe I'm prejudice......the older couple that met us on the trail didn't seem to think so.      They were actually kinda grumpy.  PBBBBT on them.   My kids were running and happy, but that was it.   They were NOT in their way in any way shape or form.   And actually stoppped running and walked by them quietly.  The two just stared at us.  And stood with their dog "defending" them.  Wouldn't even walk.   LOL   "Our dog is NOT nice."  they said looking like my kids were gonna take 'em apart.  

  
  

  I just smiled.  "The kids are fine, they won't hurt you."   (Wait wasn't it the dog I was supposed to say?)   And we kept walking........Sour lemons.

  
  

  

  
  

  We won't discuss what Sam's hand is doing in that picture.....When Zeria saw it she said.  "Sam you are going to be very embarassed when you get older when you look at that."   I think the girl may have a point.  ROFL

  
  

  Came home to a lovely pot of soup which I made up yesterday.   And a nice nap.   Tonight is date night....40 minutes and counting.  *grin*  I think the menu tonight will be Chinese.

  
  

  Oh and the soup?  Its LOVERLY.

  
  

  Hearty Saur Kraut Soup;

  
  

  1 can of saur kraut

  
  

  1 13 oz can of cream of mushroom soup

  
  

  4 cups of chicken broth

  
  

  1 package of polish sausage (sliced in bite size pieces)

  
  

  1 to 2 large potatoes chopped

  
  

  3 cups of water

  
  

  1/4 cup of onion.

  
  

  Dump in crockpot let cook for 8 hours.  

  
  

  MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!   And it doesn't taste like saur kraut (honest)  just is very very good.
