  • Good morning

Its another beautiful crisp clear fall day.  Rob has a p/t apointment.  And we're loading up the kids bikes and taking them to the waterfront.   I'm bringing a lawn chair.  LOL.    While he's at p/t they can ride.  They like to ride on concrete some days...and there's none of that round here.   This is P.E.

Tonight is date night again.  *cheers*  And have no idea what we'll do.  I like the idea of the new sci-fi movie Sky Captain.  So gonna see if we can pull off that.

Rob's birthday pressie came.  I'd love to give it to him early.  Cause I want to play with it ROFL.   Our family is about to get into a new hobby.   GeoCaching.   There's at least 12 sites nearby, so this should keep us out of mischief.  And lots of others not too far away.   His gift?  A GPS unit.  They finally came down to a price we could justify.   (He got a bottom-of-the-line-one).    I'll resist the temptation to give it early.

Now when we're on vacation we'll have another thing to look out for.  Speaking of which I need to pick up some thingys to put in the treasure box.

I had entirely too much fun at Goodwill yesterday.  And came out with costumes for each of my kiddos.   Sam got a lizard costume.  Mari a horse costume.   Mari LOOOOVES horses, so I was delighted with this one!  Brand new, soft fuzzy feels like a teddy-bear.   Kaylin got a Pocahontas costume, and Zeria a generic Indian costume.  Zeria was a little sad about hers not being Pocahontas.  But when I brought it home I spent several hours beading it...and now she loves it.

I know I'll take pictures when I'm done.  hehehe.  I just used cheap Walmart beads.  But ran-out.   They were some I've had a LONG time, so I'll get more tonight, and finish.

Rainee got a too-too.  She thinks its just great.  *giggles*

As well as those finds.  I bought Sam 5 pairs of pants.  (he grew again LOL)   and 4 sweatshirts.  A brand new faux-leather coat for Zeria (for $5) which she wouldn't take off yesterday/   and 2 shirts.  And 2 winter shirts for each of the little ones.     For all of this???  I spent $95.      More then I usually spend at Goodwill.  But I had two HUGE bags of clothes when I came out ROFL.    Oh yes, and 3 or 4 outfits for the newborn.  *grin*   Basically I had fun.  *Snicker*

Okies gonna go start a posty at Laer, and round up kids bikes and my camera.   Have a day all!

  • I LOVE Goodwill!!!

  • HEY!  I just heard about that GeoCashing.  Sounds COOL!!!  What is the website, I want to see if there is anything around here to do that, plus I probably need a GPS for my mapping class.

  • :goodjob:  Good shopping!! Goodwill ROCKS!! YAY!!

Maybe I could find a parrot costume there!! My hubby wants to be a pirate and we think it would be cute if our 22mo old could be the parrot on his shoulder! Haa ha! If not maybe a red sweatshirt orange pants and a baggie of feathers from Joanne's attached to him somehow!

Have a great date night!! We are headed up near you for a weekend off tommorrow!! Got my fam to see! They live in P.A.

    Jamie
