  • Random and miscellaneous thoughts...


    I just got stung three times by a bee.  OUCH!   This must be the year of the bee or something.   I haven't been stung in years...and this is my fourth time this summer. 


    We have/had a ice cream bucket full of fresh plums.  My moms was giving 'em away as their rotting.  Wish I'd known we would of filled up sooner.  My kids LOOOOOOVE plums.   The had part is cause its already half empty.  *snicker*   I did mention they liked them right?


    Visited with my mom for a few minutes before she had to run my brother to the doctor.   My brother whose currently living elsewhere.  He has just been diagnosed with high blood pressure.....at the ripe old age of 17.   Somehow knowing his personality it just really doesn't suprise me.  So I believe their running more tests to find out why.  


    Zeria is of the age where she's realizing everybody isn't perfect.   And she really, really, really doesn't like it when people (her older siblings included)  are "mean".   J'dai my youngest sibling who is 10.....is umm mentally a bit slow.  Not tons just a bit.   And we all tend to loose patience with her at times.


    Well today J'dai was up to her stunts and Brittany wouldn't help her.  (My 14 year old sister).  Zeria thought that wasn''t very nice.  And couldn't talk about nothing else all the way home.    I'm teaching Zeria that its okay to stand-up for others, and say "Brittany, your not being nice."     Of course this is supposed to be said in as tactful a way as possible   ROFL     Zeria has been trained ad-nauseum to take care of her younger siblings, and just can't fathom anybody else being mean to their siblings.  Apparently I've done at least one parenting thing right.     Of course this doesn't include spatting with Samuel.  Samuel's okay to spat with he's only 10 months younger then her.  *snicker*  And EVERYBODY spats with him occasionally...its in his nature.


    Anyhow its intresting watching her realize the people she idolized aren't perfect after all.......
