And the all important question of the day is.....
drum roll please.
Come on can't you guess?
Who left the comic book in the fridge?
And ummmm why???????
Good morning,
*WEEEE* I'm having fun posting. And *gasp* nothing has interrupted it....
yet.
I actually have Cat's archery contest post finished, but don't think I'll post it 'til Monday. And in a rash decision of impulse and craziness I let Rob read it. *giggles* He said it was good and thinks what other word. "Oh yes logical?" ROFL I didn't expect great comments. He's doesn't begrudge my posting time, but he doesn't precisely understand it either.
My big kids had a lovely time at the fair and grandma said they were very good. So everybody had a good day it appears.
Now lets see I just have 2.5 more contest entrys to go.......I'm working on the co-post and beginning to find the rhythm for it. It took me a minute as its harder for me to get under that charries skin. Finally I just decided to let her act like she does when she writes with a certain dwarf. She's waking up just fine. Why that dwarf wakes her up is a whole different story.
The hardest thing for me in co-posting is to take the iniative. I live in mortal fear that I'm going to break some board rule and as a result hinder myself from being free with writing. But then thats rather my personality. I believe rules are to be followed, regardless of the rule. CAll me a first born child. And when I break a rule, mindlessly or not I'm horrified for months. Soooooooo desperately fights to do this thing right.
And now I've put my normal blogging friends to sleep. *grin* Tis okay I'm returning to regular scheduled program. And have this to share from our vacation...seeings I never dug these out thanks to somebody breaking their leg. Rainee my camera hog decided she didn't WANT her picture taken at Uncle Devon's wedding. Go figure
Come to find out the real reason was....
Isn't she cute. I got to hold her that way for almost an hour and a half.
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
What a lovely treat. Treated the three wee ones to Papa Murphy's Pizza. We only needed one with the family of 5 instead of 7 tonight.
Barbeque Chicken pizza. Wish I could lick my plate. *grin*
And its been a lovely relaxing day. Its amazing what a difference having the two oldest gone makes. Its so lovely peaceful quiet here.......
We took them to the dollar store. They each picked out TWO toys. Mari's ladder broke on his fire truck as he opened the package. (this is normal.) Kaylin's ear ring is temporarily broken. (this is normal) Stare at the wee thing contemplating the easiest way to fix it.
But the funniest and rather sadistic thing was Rainee's baby doll. "Mommy, I pulled babies toes off!" At least she wasn't horrified by it.....pictures the nasty babies in Toy Story.
The Dream Park was hot, but lots of fun, and it just felt good to have a family outing again. All for under $25
Good morning,
Grandma is coming and taking the two biggest to the county fair today. I'm rather bummed I can't go, but the contractions never stopped yesterday so its just NOT a good idea to go walking around.
We are going to take the three littlest ones to the Dream Park. This was a distraction so they don't say "its not fair." when they find out where the big ones are gonna go. We can both sit and watch 'em run around and they'll be just as happy as if they got to go to the fair all day.
Zeria has figured out where their going. Samuel has not. I guess its the difference in a year of age. LOL
I don't like how I get when I'm in this much pain. Its just rather hard to be nice. So I end up crawling in a big hole and being a hermit, and thats not much better.
Samuels eye is still puffy. May be *slightly* better but not much. I guess if its puffy tomorrow I'll pursue the doctor again. *sigh*
Had two gigantic zucchini's given to us yesterday. Would like more. Rob made zucchini bread for breakfast this morning, and I grated the rest and stored them in 2 cup sizes in freezer bags. So now we can make zucchini bread about 8x all winter. I did it sitting down watching the Olympics. LOL
Other then that we're just hanging out waiting for grandma to show....
Good afternoon,
Its been a day.
Sam woke up with his bee stung eye swollen *almost* shut. So I took him to the doctor. The doctor said this was normal with facial bites....
This being the doctor that said Rainee was okay to go home doing albuterol from the hospital every two hours. For those of you who don't remember she was readmitted three hours later...and stayed for 6 days.
We'll continue to watch it and if it hasn't gone away tomorrow I guess we'll try a "real" doctor.
He also assured me this doesn't mean he was allergic to bees. Yeah, sure. Okay. (sarcasm oozes) I'll keep benadryl in the house tankee very much.
I'm feeling very crampy today and haven't gotten to rest due to the doctors run etc. So I think now I'm gonna go sleep for a bit even if it is 4 in the afternoon.
I have pictures. *grin* I know its been a long dry spell, so took my camera up to the lake, and these are three of the results. Kaylin. Not sure WHAT that look is on her face. *snicker*
Rainee "I get my heh wet mom!" (hair) This is *not* done by actually going under the water. Its done by bending over and getting her bangs wet. *giggles* And is a ritual at the lake almost every day.
And then this picture which I just love. This is Samuel dangling his feet on the end of the diving board. I actually tried to take shots of them jumping, but didn't succeed will have to try again. All I ended up with was pictures of splashes. My digi takes too long to "record" the picture. I'm starting to dream of a new one........
Well my kids just got a first.
Samuel got stung by a bee on his shoulder and his eye. Zeria in the middle of her back.
I'm thinking they found a yellow jackets nest. Call me chicken I'm not willing to get too close to where they were playing until its calmed down a bit.
Gave 'em benadryl on general principles and there both walking around with bags of frozen veggies on their bites.
Good morning,
The weather to day is indeterminate. Clouds, and blue sky all mixed up. So possibly no lake today.
Guess that means more time to watch the Olympics.
Stayed up and watched the US men win the silver in gymanstics. It was a fun watch, and I admit that I *wanted* the Japanese to win. They just were a bit showier somehow.
My kids watched some volleyball with me and were fascinated. I thought they'd give up after 30 seconds.
I have a queery. When I was little my grandma read me a book. When I was in Pocatello my mil was talking about the same book. But NEITHER of us could remember the name only the story. Somebody with a better memory wanta rescue us? Its about this little old man who used to come to visit in a rickedy old jalopy, and smoked a pipe. The pipe made magic things happen like fancy christmas balls that told stories. Any takers on the name that book contest????
I NEEEEEEEEEEEED a Diet Dew today. Must drive for one soon.
Rob is working today and then not again 'til Monday unless something gives. Its okay I'd rather him heal a bit more anyhow.
Ya know if I had any meanness in me my kids would NEVER NEVER NEVER chew gum ever again.
*sigh*
Jamari found gum in the garbage. (EWWWW!) And spent all of nap time "playing" with it. Hair, hands, face just stuck. He quite literally couldn't open his hands when he came down.
I hate gum! REally, really, really hate it.
And who WAS the idjiot that decided that gum would be a good thing to be put inside supposedly innocent suckers?
Good morning,
Rainee has a sore throat. We went to the pulminologist yesterday thinking she was better. And then her fever kicked up in the afternoon again. She's fever free again this morning, so I'm not entirely sure what is going on.
The only reason I know its a sore throat is she keeps telling me her "mouth hurts." When I asked where she touched the back of it. So mommy reasoning says its sore throat.
Yesterday she absolutely would NOT drink anything except water. Everything else made her cry. I was gonna take her to the normal doctor this morning if she was still feverish. She's not. So unless she gets really ornrey we'll assume she's getting better.
She did drink milk this morning and didn't freak over it, so maybe.
In regards to the pulmo visit. What a LONG day. The first half of the day Rainee was great, the last half I was very greatful for it to be over. She just was miserable, and made me that way.
We are going to try two new meds with Rainee over the course of the next month. (One at a time so we can "guess" which one works or doesn't.) First the reflux med. Her reflux has gotten BAD. So its time to try something. I guess we're gonna try priolsec (that doesn't look right for spelling.) Which I have to go get this morning. And then singulair to see if its allergy related.
When I got home Kaylin gave me a ten minute litany of all the wrong things that had happened in the day. It was all rather pathetic and made me wish to laugh.
Rainee on the way home started screaming. She wanted to nurse, and I didn't want to stop. So I started talking to see if I could distract her. "We're gonna go home and see Zeria." "Don't like Zeria!" We're gonna go home and see MariMan (her favoritest person) "Don't like MariMan."
We're gonna see the kitty. "Don't like kitty." (yeah whatever.) We went through about 30 suggestions and every single one was "Don't like such & so." It was actually funny in a sad pathetic sort of way.
The only two things she liked was mommy's boobie, and daddy.
So mommy stopped and nursed her. And bought 30 minutes of semi-quiet.
I'm glad I only have to do the Seattle runs once every six months now. Their just too long.
We have been given permission to monitor her less. Its up to us whether we want to use it or not. Still deciding.
Okay gonna go to town and get meds. And a Mt. Dew. I NEED one. *snicker*
Have a great day.
And go post something ya'll I'm bored. Brendar Valley? (hint, hint?)
