Good morning,
I'm practicing true parenting patience. Honest. If it kills me. Rainee has climbed up (with a stool) onto my back between my back and the computer chair. And is "brushin' mommee's hai". Ya know I've always liked my hair being brushed.....
Thunk, bang, "Dis hurt?" (Umm Yes!!!!) Never mind the whole walking on my sore back.
This is a regular ritual. She LOVES to do it. If only she could master the whole gentle thing.....
Rob picked up a extra 8 hour shift. *cheers* So he's gone all day. Feels rather weird to have him gone this early in the morning. This means he'll have a whole 28 hours in this week.
Next week though he has some routine training classes which he has to take, and I think he'll manage a whole 32 hours. I'm so looking forward to 40 hour weeks again. And the money that comes with it....
Its raining for the fourth? fifth? day in a row. I know we need it....but I've got CABIN FEVER!!!! And no money to take my kids to the indoor playland at McD's. Man do I wish I could....
Hmm how about grandma's instead. *snicker* Actually we were just there Sunday, so probably can't pull that off either. Guess I'll endure.
The kids *have* found a way to go play outside....
sort of.
They've found the crawl-space to under the house. And have been spending hours under there. I just keep praying they don't trash the plumbing. They sure think its fun. *shudders* I hate tight dark spaces. Of course if one of 'em gets stuck under there...their staying there 'cause I can't get them, and Rob can't. I guess we had to pay a neighbour kid to go get 'em.
My dad informs me that that was the way they spent all winter playing. (EWWWW!)
And thats about all that I can think of thats even remotely important. *snicker*

oh ewwww, no way, mine would be stuck there too at least until daddy got home. It's been raining here almost every day as well.
I remember when I was pregnant with my second child my parents came to visit (I was about 8 months and very big), we went to the playground McDs and my son crawled into the tunnels at the very top and got stuck. No one could get him, I couldn't fit and no one else there could, we had to wait until a child entered to go help him. He was stuck up top for about 30-1 hour, he no longer climbs to climb things and is scared of heights.
Oh no.. couldn't do that!! I'd be WAY too afraid there would be spiders or something under there! **shudder-fer-sure!**
LouAnne's Hannah likes to do my hairs. We never did play in the crawl space... I am pretty sure Momma woulda been scared and therefore it would have been a no-no. Hope they have fun! :heartbeat:
:sunny:
Rainee is such a sweetie. It's amazing that time has gone by so fast. It seems like yesterday when you announced her birth.
My kids are big and can drive and I still get crazy on rainy days that come too closely together. Hope it gets better for you.
