Good morning,
Rainee has a sore throat. We went to the pulminologist yesterday thinking she was better. And then her fever kicked up in the afternoon again. She's fever free again this morning, so I'm not entirely sure what is going on.
The only reason I know its a sore throat is she keeps telling me her "mouth hurts." When I asked where she touched the back of it. So mommy reasoning says its sore throat.
Yesterday she absolutely would NOT drink anything except water. Everything else made her cry. I was gonna take her to the normal doctor this morning if she was still feverish. She's not. So unless she gets really ornrey we'll assume she's getting better.
She did drink milk this morning and didn't freak over it, so maybe.
In regards to the pulmo visit. What a LONG day. The first half of the day Rainee was great, the last half I was very greatful for it to be over. She just was miserable, and made me that way.

We are going to try two new meds with Rainee over the course of the next month. (One at a time so we can "guess" which one works or doesn't.) First the reflux med. Her reflux has gotten BAD. So its time to try something. I guess we're gonna try priolsec (that doesn't look right for spelling.) Which I have to go get this morning. And then singulair to see if its allergy related.
When I got home Kaylin gave me a ten minute litany of all the wrong things that had happened in the day. It was all rather pathetic and made me wish to laugh.
Rainee on the way home started screaming. She wanted to nurse, and I didn't want to stop. So I started talking to see if I could distract her. "We're gonna go home and see Zeria." "Don't like Zeria!" We're gonna go home and see MariMan (her favoritest person) "Don't like MariMan."
We're gonna see the kitty. "Don't like kitty." (yeah whatever.) We went through about 30 suggestions and every single one was "Don't like such & so." It was actually funny in a sad pathetic sort of way.
The only two things she liked was mommy's boobie, and daddy.
So mommy stopped and nursed her. And bought 30 minutes of semi-quiet.
I'm glad I only have to do the Seattle runs once every six months now. Their just too long.
We have been given permission to monitor her less. Its up to us whether we want to use it or not. Still deciding.
Okay gonna go to town and get meds. And a Mt. Dew. I NEED one. *snicker*
Have a great day.
And go post something ya'll I'm bored. Brendar Valley? (hint, hint?)

When my daughter was about 2 she got this virus that gave her blisters in her mouth & throat. No meds for it all we could do was wait it out. She got tired of water, and didn't want milk, but the one thing she WOULD drink was room temp diet 7up. Sounds strange, but it worked.
Poor little Rainee. It's just no fun having you mouth hurting. I was going through the pictures on my Yahoo photos and found pics of Rainee. I'd forgotten I had them there. Hope she gets to feeling better. I know when I have stomach troubles it feels like I'm having asthma troubles instead. The Prilosec should make a big difference. :sunny:

*hugs*
And thanks for the tip. Trying to get a Dr's appointment... Blood? Stone? You get the picture. So I'm bugging partner dearest (who's a nurse) and daddy dearest (who works for a meds company) for ideas.
They blame the weather as part of it. And stress...
