Rob's surgery is tomorrow. They will be putting two pins in.
We found out what we needed to know about his leave time.
We're screwed.
He will get sick leave until Wednesday/Thursday next week. And then we have no money coming until he returns to work.
Prayers are appreciated. We're rather numb. We can do bills this month. But not sure what then. I'm cutting everything.
Internet is only $10 a month. I'm not cutting it yet....but may depending on how things go. I can get ten hours free at juno.
maybe I should pull out that "free" AOL 3 trial months I chucked in the garbage.
I'm breathing.
And so greatful we didn't decide to do my parents house. We can come up with $330 for a house payment. Its the medical bills (Rainee's ongoing ones) and such like that we're not thrilled about.
Breathing.
Praying.
Crying.
Hoping.
God never moves without purpose or plan, when trying a servant or molding a man.

((((((((Tonia))))))))) You have my prayers. I'm so sorry this is happening. You've probably already checked, but do you know if his employer offers any short term or long term disability? Ken's work offers it, even though it only pays 60% of his current wage, at least it's something.
Praying, praying, praying.

Did they give you an estimated time of how long it will take him to recover enough to go back to work?
LOL about the AOL thing...we considered the same thing.
Will be praying too... I know how much the financial thing sucks.
He qualifies for short-term disability after 90 days.
Oh thats just so helpful. (not)
{hugs} Please check with his HR dept and see if he can get shared leave. We had a lady at work break her leg and was off for 6 weeks and got a month of shared leave time donated.
I dunno if this is what PhotoQuilter is talking about, but my mom is a nurse and when stuff happens with people and they need a lot of time off and don't have enough of their own to cover they ask around and/or put up fliers to see if people will donate. Glad to hear that the kids are helping out! Best wishes

So sorry to hear it. You seem to have a guardian Tonia. I think you'll be okay. You have so much good that exudes from you that you can't help but have good come back.
Big hugs!
*hugs* Thinking of you all and keeping you in our prayers here...
I hope everything works out, is there a possibility your church can help you out? Like donate, preparing meals and helping out around the house in general? I will have you and your family in our prayers.
Judie
