We interupt your organized life for an emergency.
Or never run in grass.
Well my life just got busier. And scarier a bit.
Yesterday morning we went to return something to my parents. Rob decided we were in a hurry. (we weren't
) And found a hole in my parents lawn and broke his tibia and fibia. My mom, sister, and bil heard it snap. (EWWWW!) I'm sooooooooo greatful I had the window of the van closed and the air conditioning on.
So we have no idea how much flat time we're looking at at this point. Tomorrow I will drive him for a c/t scan. And Wednesday or Thursday we are apparently looking at surgery. *sigh*
Its a good thing pay day is tomorrow. We have under $200 in our account right now.
So who does the house work when we're both supposed to be on bedrest? We're still working on that answer.
Rob thinks he's gonna fold laundry in bed. Which is quite possible. The kids can then put it away.
Meals I've already been doing. Its the other stuff, like cleaning the bathroom, sweeping the floors, that I'm just staring at rather overwhelmed and feeling like bawling.
I have no idea how my internet time is gonna fit in this. I'm thinking there may be none. Except when I sneak on desperate for a five minute break. We will see.
So prayers would be good yes? Of course yes.
And anybody want to come do housework?????

Oh my goodness...I almost laughed when you asked what are you supposed to do when both are on bedrest. I remember when I was 8.5 mths. pregnant and he was barely functioning with a broken rib and punctured lung. What a mess we were.
If I remember correctly, the house didn't fair so well.
Why not see if one of your siblings could use some extra cash, particularly those not quite old enough to get jobs on their own? They might be able to help out for a few dollars a week or something.. *shrugs* just an idea...
Poor Rob! If I was closer I'd help! You're in my thoughts! :heartbeat:
:heartbeat: Argh!! Hmm, maybe the older one, ones can help fold the clothes...even toss them in the washer for you ...under your direction...snickers. *sees clothes flying everywhere*
As for the the man of the house...depending on what they do to the leg, he might be able to be in a wheelchair if your insurance covers that...luckily ours did...Salem hid the first day...he didn't like that thing in the house at first. I think we had to buy the walker...which worked better for the husband instead of crutches.
**shakes her head** Hugs the girl. Will be praying that family will be able to help you.
And, the boards might just be the mental relief you will be needed. **more hugs**
oh my- praying.
Yikes. well I guess you'll find a way, you've survived before and you will survive this.
YOU TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF and don't worry about us, we'll all still be here when you are okay to get back to us.
oh ouch! is my immediate reaction. You both take care.
Just scrolling through, wanted to say hi!
Gosh, 5 kids.. and I thought I was alone lol
