Myth; Bee's don't sting after their dead.
Fact; When picking up a half eaten orange look out for dead bees....they sting.
One of the munchies left a half a orange on the floor yesterday. I bent down to pick it up while still watching tv. And dropped it with a yelp. The yellow jacket had his say even after he was dead. YEOUCH!
Fortunately I'm not allergic...and after smothering it in baking soda it was fine.
Kaylin and Samuel read their first words yesterday. They were both thrilled. And then I had them write out those words. Kaylin liked that a LOT. She loves to write. She wrote the one word umm 25x? Just cause she could LOL.
I'm hoping we can continue on. My dream would be to have the learning to read program done by the end of the summer. My goal is to have it done by Christmas. (reality and all
)
Of course then the curriculum I have to provide will triple. (yikes!) But tis ok. Its fun to read. Its my favorite all consuming hobby.
I *gasp* even did preschool with Mari yesterday. The world is apparently ending if I'm that organized. Don't expect it to happen again. *snicker*
My kids are living in their bathing suits. Its been so hot, they get in them first thing in the morning, and don't take them off until bedtime. I remember those days.
As for me I'm living in jumpers. Their loose, comfortable, and sleeveless. Had fog this morning, but its already burnt off and disappearing. Its going to be another gorgeous day today.
The friend I blogged about with marriage issues. Came to the lake yesterday and played with her kids all afternoon. Its good to see her being social again.
The dad has custody rights....and my dad is apparently being the third party to get the kids back and forth from visits. This all for people who haven't been in our church in five years.
It doesn't matter. We loved/love them, and would love to see healing. And regardless they need help. We chatted about kids, the weather, and the lake. I taught her son in kindgerarten. We laughed about his antics. And kept things simple. Except for the fact she mentioned she isn't sleeping. Gee I can't imagine why.
*Makes note* Go hug my husband AGAIN!!!
I think my thyroid med is finally balanced. The last couple days it feels as if the depression has lifted some. Its nice. I won't hold my breathe that it stays that way
In SS their having a age old debate about depression...and how if you just trust God enough it will all go away. My hubby came unglued. So did my mom. I'm in a different class thankfully. I just want a couple of those asinine men to have to deal with chronic depression for awhile without medication.....
That's not nice is it????
Other then that...its a gorgeous day...and life moves on.
