  • Afternoon.

Survived a trip to Costco with five kids and a hubby in tow.   He has his new running shoes, compliments of Big 5.   And did all the lifting of stuff for me.  We only spend $280 at Costco.

I'm constantly afeared as to how we will afford to feed our kids when they hit jr High.   Currently a normal sized bottle of ketchup last us two meals.  Jam is good for 4 sets of sandwiches if mommy or daddy makes them.  If Zeria makes them its good for 2.   Mayo lasts us a week....if we're really careful.

I buy things in sets of twos.  Its okay, babies kind of come to this house in sets of twos too.......*snicker*

It feels so weird, for this pregnancy to be relaxed.   We're not frantically moving.  (Kaylins pregnancy we moved 2.5 times)      Or dealing with another adoption (Rainee's pregnancy.)   Life is in relative order.   I just keep waiting for something to complicate that.....*snicker*

I soooooooooooooo want Rainee potty trained before this baby comes.  And I soooooooooooo don't actually want to have to do it.  *snicker*   Soon,  soon, I'll talk myself into it.  hahahahaha

Had hot dogs at Costco for lunch.  Phew finally a cheap meal for my family.  *if ya can call that food...."  $12 for a family of 7 to eat til we were stuffed.

Of course it wants to come back up...so maybe that wasn't a good buy after all???

Rearranged my furniture in my living room...(again)  I had just done it two weeks ago.  And HATED where the couch ended up.  Astetically it looked better,  but in order to watch tv it was quite uncomfortable.   And I can't move the tv, thanks to where the sattelite comes in at.  So its back abutting the computer.   And I can watch tv again without hurting my back.

I may not get online tomorrow due to needing to do a run to town, and family camp starting.  In which case I'll be back Monday some time.

I very much looking forward to the change of residence for a bit.  Even if swimming at Lake Crescent probably won't be happening.  Although a nice canoe ride while grandma & grandpa watched our kids would me nice.......(I can dream right???)

Oh and I'm "planning"  on taking pictures, but first I have to hit Walmart for batterys.   I just ran out of time today to get there.  I also have to find a new backpack for Rainee's oxy cannula.  Her old one broke.   And there are just several days a month she has to wear it to remind her not to pull it out.

Last night she pulled it 4x in 3 hours.   So she's back to wearing it for a bit....

Although I'm contemplating crotcheting her one.  As the place I got the last one doesn't have them anymore.  I just need a teensy weensy little clothe back pack.   Cloth so I can wash it.   I just don't have the energy to hit every store in town looking like I did last time.  Wish the dang thing hadn't broke.  But its definitely dead.

Well, the contractions have started.  I get about 30-40 minutes online and then I'm in pain.   So apparently thats my cue to quit.

    Have a great weekend all.

  • Lake Crescent! *screams* MY FAVORITE PLACE! Whooo!

Okay, I'm calm now. What a cute pregnancy calendar. You just take care. *hugs*

And man... we buy four gallons of milk for two weeks... I can't imagine what you all have to buy. *big eyes*

  • Take care! *hugs*

  • I SO understand your fear of feeding your children during the teen years.  We have the same dilemma.  Pierson alone eats two sandwiches/hot dogs/ whatever we have. And he's only four!  I dread his teen years.
