  • Good morning.   So its Kaylin Joy the medium-sized-big-girl's birthday today.   She's four years old.   And she started her morning by puking all over the birthday clothes I'd just put on her.    She's now laying on the couch lookin' miserable.   She's done this a couple times in the mornings and I'm hoping its allergies and once we get some breaky in her tummy we can go on with this day.  So I haven't cancelled her party.....yet.  What a way to start a birthday.

I'm still rather in awe that she's four...contemplating how that happened so quickly....

    Anyhow onward with the vacation...

As I've mentioned before I was fascinated with the flora and fauna.   Though I didn't get pictures of flowers, I did nab these cactus' along side a road.

I wish I'd gotten a picture of the artichokes growing EVERYWHERE.   They are the strangest looking plant....

Changing directions a picture of Rainee and daddy on one of the many beaches we visited....

This was one of Rob's favorite beaches from his childhood.   And my new background shot was taken here as well.   They had the prettiest little rocks.   And agates absolutely everywhere you look.   It was so fun to play with the rocks.   Actually this was my favorite beach and we hit it twice cause we both enjoyed it so much.   And I have a wee handful of pebbles and shells that came home with me from here.

It was actually that impressive of a beach to look at it was the pebbles that were fun.  LOL  Can see why this was a kids paradise.

And here's the pebbles none-muted.    Cause their just so purdy.  Definitely hit F11 on these so you can find yourself an agate or two....

Okies gotta do hair and stuffies, so this day moves on.  A few more pictures to share tomorrow.  *grin*

  • Love the bg and the beach there.  We always take part of the beach home with us... I imagine folks have done that for centuries... what an amazing gift and gift-giver the ocean and its shore, to always have prezzies for all who want them.  Birthday is better than barfday... I hope the girl is feeling better already. :heartbeat:
