The pretty I worked on last night. This is a new charrie that I'm playing around with. Don't know where I'm going to write her, but quite happy with her siggy.
Good afternoon ![]()
My sick kiddos are 98% better. Sam ended up getting sick. Didn't throw up, just didn't a lot of moaning. LOL
Kaylin is still laying low and hasn't eaten tons. Mommy is currently heating up Cambells chicken noodle soup. This was mommy's day-after-the-flu food, so she's hoping it will work for Kaylin.
I went grocery shopping, so actually have some to give her LOL
And when I came home my lovely mother had stopped by. She catered a dinner for the fire department and brought leftovers. I have turkey, ham, two jello salads, rolls, and a green salad. Woo HOO won't be cooking dinner tonight.
My kids never get jello, they think their in heaven. *giggles*
I bought DH's Christmas gift today too. He's getting a 22. We have a 12 gauge but he wanted something to shoot for fun. So guess what the men at my parents house will be doing Christmas day????? Snigger. Its better then listening to them try to out-talk medical accidents. Blood, guts and Christmas dinner just an AWFUL combination. :-X
I almost had to sign my life away to get that gun. Gun regulations being what they are these days. Oh and then the Walmart asst manager walked me to the door to make sure I didn't shoot anybody on the way out. (sarcastic voice inserted here) *giggles*
I'm happy...I have Mountain Dew again, and Ice Cream, and Chocolate. Okies so I went a bit overboard, but food was down to just the eww borings and I had a sweet tooth *giggles*. Can you say wrong time of the month???
Scared myself when I got to the pharmacist to pick up my meds and he charged me $74. EWWWWWWW. I asked him to double check, and then he told me it was a 90 day supply. normally its only 30. 90 is good less trips to the pharmacist. LOL
chocolate mints anyone?
Its the simple things in life now isn't it?
Except Foxxy I think I'm mad at you. *giggles* Awhile back you posted perogys in a post. And I've been craving them ever since. And dang their just not available around here. *sniff sniff* And I'm way way too lazy to make them on my own. Why don't Americans eat perogys? Stupid Americans. And my bad Canadian mom for getting me addicted to them. They used to have them in the frozen food section...but no go. Maybe I should find myself a recipe and see if I can do it.....or maybe I should just dream LOL
Oh when my Canadian aunt had open heart surgery I went and stayed with her as she couldn't drive. And she took me to this place that made perogys and fried them. And you dipped them in sour cream and my mouth is watering as I think of it. Do you think I could drive the ten hours to get there and have some??? PLEASE? Rob wouldn't mind babysitting would he???
Ok I've wandered on about nothing. LOL
for those keeping score....we know have two sick kids in our house. Rainee has upchucked twice. Of course they both timed it at the same time. And Rob went to work. ARRRRRRRRGH
Oh and Zeria says her tummy's getting burbly. I'm guessing that means she's gonna puke her lunch up oh say in an hour.
Sorry I know this blog isn't for the weak-stomached. ![]()
late yesterday afternoon Kaylin fell asleep on top of me watching tv. I thought it was rather different, but didn't persue it. I woke her up about 4:15 and she was as ornrey as 10 mother bears with sore cubs. We spatted/battled/etc until bedtime. She was just whiny and hysterical. I was so fed up with her.
Sooooooooo sometime in the middle of the night she began throwing up, and still won't keep anything down.
Thanks Zanzivou for sharing.
That just wasn't very nice. *giggles* Do you think this means the whole house is gonna do this....I so hope not!
And now of course I feel very bad for how harsh I was with kaylin. Hindsite is such a lovely gift. ![]()
DH went to go get her some 7-up and mommy some dew before he goes to work. This will make my day doable anyhow.
so I should know this by now. But parenting tip for the day is...
Never ask your children what their doing when you really, really don't want to know.
Rainee came up to me with a pen in her hand. I smiled and said "What ya doing with that?" She pulled up her shirt and said "corin" (colorin) And proceeded to decorate her belly in pen. *snigger*
Goood morning
My lovely daughter Zeria decided to sleep in her own bed last night. I was very very very greatful. LOL She's been in mine every night for the last two months.
Of course I was less greatful when I found out they'd all had a party in their room at 3:30 this morning and daddy had to go up and clean clocks and remind them that 3:30 was sleepy time not play time. GROWL
I have a beautiful Christmas tree up in my living room. And had nothing to do with setting it up. I bought it at the festival of trees. Its mostly pink with pink tool/ribbons/beads as the garland. Covered in pink hearts and festive pink carousel horses. Rather looks like Catherine decorated it *giggles* The bestest thing however is it has a black angel on top. Zeria was very excited about that. The lady who decorated it also has a black adopted daughter so that was very cool.
My tree that I decorated was a roaring success and sold for over $100. I was quite shocked considering I only paid about $30 for the decorations *giggles*. It was very shiny and irridescent. I have pictures...just haven't uploaded them yet. I will...eventually. *grin*
Its blue sky outside and frickin cold.
I was a very good girl today and went and did story board posts on all of the major stories I'm in. The only place I didn't post at was oddessey...'cause its Jen's turn there. LOL And Misty B&B...I'll get there maybe or maybe not.
Rainee Grace continues to be sick. And is having to sleep at 1.5 liters of oxygen in order to maintain her levels. We decided to up her flovent to her "emergency" levels. And will see if that helps. If it doesn't I'll drag her to her doctor and get her on some orals...something he and I are not happy about, so will try this first.
Rob and I did a lot of discussing options last night and praying and worrying and finally came up with this. I'm praying it was God who gave it to us and that it works.
Rob kicked butt yesterday and got ALL the laundry washed again. A couple loads still need to be folded, but all in time. And I'm oh so not doing it right now. LOL
I thoroughly enjoyed being lazy yesterday. And it did help a lot. So I'm gonna do bits today, but NO housework, not until my body forgives me for last week. LOL
Jen Rob wants you to know your pile of dishes is depressing. He has great sympathy for you.
Kayte, Dee, Misty, and Mystical....I'm really sorry about last night but my server didn't like me, and wouldn't let me back on, so I just finally gave up and went to bed. LOL
Two candy canes are missing from our tree already...gee I wonder how that happened. *snigger*
My tree though the picture is really quite lousy LOL. It was filled with irridescent ornaments and very sparkly.
Here's one of the ornaments up close and personal.
And thats life from this house. we just keep moving along.
Updated 'cause I found my camera and got the picy's uploaded ![]()
Evening,
Well, its been a day. A weekend?
I had a lot of fun actually. We had our Awana Christmas tree Festival. And it was a lot of fun. Some hard moments, but I shoved those in a nice dark corner. *grin*
The downside is the pain I dealt with this week just has continued to increase. It has reached the intolerable point. And I guess I reached the way over did it point.
I can't explain. I'm not sure how to. Just let me tell you that literally ever part of my body is in pain. Today I stayed home from church. And just rested. All day.
I have the pain back down to a liveable level. And my husband has declared I'm done. Done doing housework and laundry. Done. He doesn't want to see me in pain.
I would love to disagree with him, but after the last 48 hours its rather hard to.
Somebody said oh cool no housework. Its not cool. It means that I'm not holding up my end of the partnership. Rob strongly disagrees. He says that's not what he married me for. He's a very awesome husband. But it still is hard to admit you can't even do housework without going into shock.
Does happy dance. Big long happy dance. All my "big" Christmas presents are bought! ![]()
And I found 3 extra special ornaments for my tree I'm decorating at the Awana tree festival tomorrow. Done! Done! DONE. bwahaha
The stocking stuffies I will start collecting next week, or as I find something special. Those are my "treat" I love doing them. Its fun to see what little things you can find that will make whichever member of my family smile.
Kids and I have actually done 3 successful town trips for Christmas shopping. Today's was fun.
We went to the downtown area and did 3 stores. A five and dime store, the Bible Bookstore, and then walked a couple blocks up to the stationary store. It was cold, but we all enjoyed window shopping and looking at all the pretty Christmas decorations. And the kids got complimented for their behavior in 2 out of the 3 stores.
Does anybody know if Halmark carrys Lisa Frank stuff? My niece is into it, and I couldn't find it anywhere in town...though didn't look close enough at Wal-mart. Cause didn't find out 'til last night. I can add something to her gift if I can find it.....
My crick in my neck was 90% gone this morning, but is coming back as the day progress' though not nearly as bad as yesterday. I know a hot tub soak would help, but no one to watch the kids at the moment, so I'll just have to dream.
Boards are quiet. (she whimpers quietly) So, gonna go see if I can figure out Sim City.....some silly online friend said it was a good game. Have to admit last night once she answered some questions I did get rather addicted. ROFL. But this morning I thought I'd try a new city...and I'm doing something wrong again...I can't get anybody to move in.....ROFL.
Okies...enough blathering for now...got to go read Sir's and hit refresh on a couple boards.
Its gorgeous outside. Frickin cold...but gorgeous. I managed to go pick up sheet-rock to finish up Rainee's bedroom today. And came home and attacked my bathroom a bit. It looks much better. I then laid down on my bed for a couple minutes to rest and did some serious damage to my neck. I'm currently not looking to the right without wishing to cry.
Had a lovely little rage at my kids due to their misbehavior and my pain. Then apologized for not handling it quite right.
I hate it when I start yelling.
DH slunk into the bedroom for his nap. *snicker* He was a smart smart man.
Rainee is currently seeing what she can knock off of the dining room table. Its her goal in life to see how many messes she can make in one day.
The others are watching tb. (tv to those who don't speak toddlerese) TB was necessary so mommy could come down off ceiling. It hurts when I'm up there. LOL
I'm trying something new in my house. I'll let you know in a couple days if it works. In a house of 7 noisy peoples. It is very hard to get someones attention without yelling. I'm tired of yelling. So I'm whistling. *snigger* I have this little red whistle and I'm currently training the kids to come running when it blows. Its a "game" and they think its funny so far. If this works I will be quite greatful.
Kaylin doesn't like to run, she thinks its a major inconvenience. So she twaddles over. Mari is asleep so he's skipping this game. And Rainee is completely NOT intrested. *snigger*
Have one picture to show today. I took it on Saturday. Sam climbed out on this rock. And I was just getting ready to say..."Sam, that's not a good idea....." when he found out why. *snigger*
