    Oh I'm gonna hurt tomorrow.

My kids had their Christmas Sunday School program tonight.  And oh my hysterical.    Typical angels, wisemen, shepherds, and animals.

Yup.  animals.  The littlest 2s and 3s, plus some of the 4s and 5s were animals.  And well they were rowdy.

The high lights.  Several of them eating straw.  Feeding the straw to their Sunday School teacher (wether she wanted it or not.)  Oh yes, and my favorite?   When Kaylin and Mari tried to climb over teacher's back and somehow managed to knock her over

This would be the mari bunny.  Isn't he cute??  Sweet angel...his poor teacher btw deserves some kind of medal for surviving.  She's NOT young over 70 and on her hands and knees with 10 little animals crawling on her.  ROFL!

My nephew (3.5) decided that something on the floor below the stage was quite fascinating.  So he hung his head over and checked it out for a good long time.  We were all wondering what it was.....

Oh yes, and Mari as he crawled onto stage (animals being required to crawl)  MOONED the whole audience.  Well that is if black kids moon....but you get the idea.  snigger.

I apologize for the quality of this picture.   I used the zoom and the stage was dark.  But I just had to share.  This is Samuel who is so NOT an angel.  They apparently didn't type cast.  Apparently he was tired....so the sky was holding him up.  *giggles*

He btw had a lovely time sticking his tongue out of his mouth and causing it to dance, yes dance to the last song.  I guess you had to see it to understand.

And then their was the dancing angel.  Zeria got down jiggy with it in the last song.  Problem?  She was the only one...yup she's black she's got the moves.  ROFL....I found out later EVERYBODY Was supposed to dance...but she was apparently the only one who remembered.

This picture is also a bit poor.  But thats one of the animals, who got tired of being an animal and removed her mask.  She's my niece a couple months older then Rainee.  So she decided to go visit the angels.  The animals pretty much did whatever they want on stage......And left us absolute hysterical!

Christmas has officially started when I've seen the Sunday school program.  The music was actually good in spite of the laughs.  (This isn't always the case)  ROFL   And my two teen-age brothers did a beautiful duet...still wondering who twisted their arm and how hard.  snigger.   And one of my teen-age sisters did a duet which was also gorgeous.

Kaylin...oh yes we forgot to discuss my pea-brain.   She had to go potty.  IN the middle of the performance.  NOt once but twice.

So she got off stage and announced it to mommy, much to the hysterics of all sitting near us.  And we ran down the aisle of the church and made it to the bathroom.  If this wasn't bad enough...she did it again 15 minutes later.  SNIGGERing madly

Here's the lovely animals crawling up the middle of the church aisle.  *giggles*  Poor SS teacher did it too.....oh her poor knees!

I'm thrilled xanga has let me upload so many pictures.    I have one more to share although their were several other note-worthy ones.  LOL  I could uploaded the one of my nephew eating hay....snigger or checking out underneath the stage.  *giggles*  But not sure if my sis wants his face on the web.  So we'll stop with this group shot of all the pretty kids singing about Jesus

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!!

  • *giggles* my dad's wife was telling me yesterday about her traumatic experience in a school nativity play when she was little. she wanted to be an angel, but she was told she had the wrong colour hair! She had to be a sheep instead

I have vague memories of being forced to be a snowflake in one christmas play, and running off stage and hiding behind my mother.
