Oh look I got two pictures uploaded.  These are my monkeys on Thursday.  And yes their up as high as it looks.  They were climbing in the maple tree…which is apparently their new favorite.

I climbed trees growing up, and I got up equally high.  And have precious memories about the view from the tree-tops.  So when I get nervous I walk away.  LOL  I just have one rule.  And that’s no monkeying.  They have to have two hands and two feet attatched to the tree at all time.   This was my parents rule and it stood me in good stead.  *snicker*

I was lazy today.  Did a couple posts.  Had a good laugh over juxtaposition.   Am really having a hard time keeping Catherine balanced in that story.  But then thats rather the point to it.  *snicker*

Had a nice long nap, and rather depressing vent at my hubby.   But the vent did do some good, and well we keep moving on.  Marriage is just plain hard work some days.  And I get so sick of repeating everything I say to everybody at least 3x before it “clicks”.

Adult conversation is precious.  LOL  Especially in this household.

Had 3 lovely IM’s with people.  I needed the distraction!  Waves to Emma, and Mysti, and Tracey.  And now I’m headed out to celebrate my moms 57?th birthday.  Its a adult party, no kiddos.  And we have exactly $600 in our account, and we’re going to a spendy restaurant.  *sigh*  Normally I make dinner its “my” gift, but this year for many obvious reasons it couldn’t happen.  Rob has decided we’re gonna have to SOS his parents, they offered two weeks ago, and pride took over.

We have just had a spendy month.  Rainee’s room, and three trips to Seattle and so on.  Good news is, I have most of the Christmas shopping done.  Stocking stuffers I can do with “grocery” money.   And the 5 remaining “bigger” presents I can get in December when the adoption check comes in.  (these are for extended family)  Christmas is a major challenge to budget for these days.   And ever since the new van money just seems to be tighter, plus the whole $100 going out to Apria for rainee’s oxy every month.  Gotta love life.

  • Good morning.

Well Sam’s hernia is fixed.  It was a long long day yesterday.   He did well in the surgery, and for this I’m thankful.  And he’s not even doing pain meds today.  Although we have him planted in front of the tv ’cause we’re suposed to restrict his activity.

I was a bad girl and forgot to take my meds for several days preceding the surgery.  And was rather a nasty person to be around on Friday.    Ended up having to apologize to DH several times.

I’m so sick of not getting to stay home, and rather whiny still today.  I’m beyond tired and so on.

I’ll spare you the whine.  I know part of it is *not* me.  And the rest of it will go away sometime…you know when I have two or three days that qualify as normalacy.  (HAHAHAHA)

Got to do the dump today…Rob forgot to put the dumpster out in our rush to leave.  Its a long long story.

And got to go get Snuggly bunny from my Sil’s.  Zeria’s favorite cuddly.  She left him their cause she went and watched my brother play basketball until 10 last night.  She was extremely hysterical when she realized it, and way way over tired. So must collect him before tonight.

Other then that, I’m just hanging around hoping somebody’s gonna be online to play with.  ‘Cause its gonna be a long, long day trying to keep a five year old laying still.

  •

It was a gorgeous afternoon today.    My kids played outside in the fall weather for two hours without coming inside.  I snuck out and took pictures ’cause they are just way too cute.  LOL   Here’s Kaylin smiling purdy.  This is gonna be a new favorite of mine!

And this clown is Mari.  He has decided that in order to smile at the camera you must close your eyes.  I can NOT convince him otherwise.  *snort*  Soooooooo  one goofy picture happens!

Have a couple more, but xanga just started playing games on me, so more tomorrow.  (I hope)

  • the hot dog saga continues….

Rainee has figured out how handy teefers are.  She went into the fridge opened drawer got out hot dogs.

Problem?  Mommy told her no, go put those back.

Rainee looked at mommy took them to where mommy couldn’t see, bit, yes bit the package open and got her own hot dog.

    HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE

I suppose I should have gotten mad huh?

Too busy laughing at her intelligence.

  • AFTERNOON

oops caps off now.  typing while nursing.  Rainee did her last day of Early intervention today.    She has no delays in my opinion any more.  Except for the limp, and it comes and goes these days, so I’m hoping that its just gonna go away on its own.  Besides I’m *supposed* to be schooling Zeria, and its time to get my rear in gear and actually do it, and running Rainee twice a week is hindering progress.

Anyhow went and said goodbye and thanks to the ladies and am glad to move on.

Have meat cut up, and macaroni boiling for soup.  So that’s one job done.  As soon as DH wakes up from his day sleep, I’m going down for mine.

Rainee’s pneumonia continues to linger.  Its not nearly as bad as others, but still enough to cause me to worry.  And wish that it was over with big time.

hmm brain dead and can’t think, so I guess I’ll hit submit for whatever its worth.

  • My opinionated daughter.

Rainee decided we were having hot dogs for dinner.  She went into the fridge, opened it, pulled open the drawer with the hot dogs, and brought them over to me.

    I ignored her.

She pulled on my pant leg until I went over to the kitchen and gave her one.  *snicker*  Fortunately for her we were already planning on having them.  Sooooo the tater tots were cooking, and she went and got a second package and brought them over to sister.  Sister gave her one.  *snicker*

I put the hot dogs in the microwave and dished out the tater tots.  (I know real healthy)  She ate two raw ones, and two cooked ones.  Plus two tater bar things.

She got down from the high chair (she does this on her own) walked over to the fridge opened the drawer and pulled out a third pack and held it up to me.  Don’t have to guess what she wants now do we?

Oh and in regards to her speech…she went from five words to over 25 in about a week and a half.   The one for tonight was?

Yep you guessed it ‘o dog

  •

Woo hoo!  I got another picture up.  I took this of my boys on Friday when we went to Seattle.  This was one of their highlights.  *giggles*  They got to pretend they were playing this video game, and thought it was very cool.  Was almost tempted to give them quarters to play it, but alas I had none, and they are really too little to actually play it.  Sides they had a ton of fun without ever spending any money.  Oh and the coat Mari’s wearing?  I got it at Goodwill for $2.00.  *snicker*  It was an extremely unnecessary purchase, but entirely too cute!

And this second picture is taken from the ferry looking across to another ferry.  And Mt. Baker in the background.  Make you homesick Jen and Tracey?

So, I opened my e-mail this morning to find out one of the most active moms on my pchin’s board (pediatric congenital heart)  baby died in the middle of the night.  I don’t know the mom, but that just rather made my day go crashing down.    And of course while I’m reading this DH is trying to tell me some lame joke….which I may have thought was funny, if my heart hadn’t just stopped.   It gotta get better ’cause wow that was a momentemous downer.  Hugs my baby closer then before.

Didn’t get the sweaters sorted out.  Did get some winter coats that were tattered of the kids into a bag.   Stared at the computer way too much, and rather avoided life.  I’m storing up energy for this weekend I guess.

    More later..maybe

So, the waited for so long, you probably forgot I promised it Trick-or-Treat picture is up.  I am unable these days to just upload them, I have to resize them with my print-shop-pro program, and its irritating.  I’m thinking its the sacrifice of using Juno as my server.  Not entirely sure.  Keep fiddling, but can’t solve it.  *sigh*   Anyhow…we have before you, one gorilla, 1 geenie, 1 princess, 1 dragon, and 1 fairy.  *giggles*  And yep their all rather doped out on candy.  Remind me to take the pictures *BEFORE* we go next year.

And then this picture….Rainee’s first braids.  And can we just say Pippi?  They stuck straight out, and I didn’t make them do that…just did.  *giggles*  Oh, and thats the back-pack she sports these days as she always wears the cannula.   It *IS* working, and we’ve just gotten used to seeing it.  And amazingly enough their haven’t been nearly as many oh-you-poor-baby comments as I expected.

Although I did have a rather cool experience.  A lovely lady in her 60′s stopped me at Rite Aide last week and asked about the oxy/cannula.  And shared that she had just sent all of her oxy supplies back to the provider.  She had been wearing it and had a clean bill of health, and was so excited about it.  It was something I could never have related to in the past.  And she was just ever so friendly about it.

Survived grocery shopping with the kiddos.  *giggles*   Spent less money then normal.  Christmas, Thanksgiving, 3 birthdays for relatives are all coming up.  And another trip to Seattle, and Rainee’s bedroom cost $400 to build, and the money that we used, we really didn’t have.  Sooooooooo money is TIGHT!  Fortunately I have the kids main presents.   Unfortunately I still have to buy 6 presents at a minimum of $15 a piece.  (Oy!)  These are for the exchange with my family….one present per family member.  Plus of course pressies for both sets of grandparents…I’ve made photo calendars for them at Shutterfly, and ordering them today with grocery money.  They should be very cute.

Will wait until December and the next adoption check to get the rest of the pressies.  And I *guess*  next grocery day will start collecting stocking stuffers.     I know its a bit early.  But with a family this size if I don’t…I’m gonna be in serious trouble!!!

Rainee Grace is done her steroids…and still rather miserable.  But still maintaining, so not gonna head back to the doctor.

And three more days and we’re headed for Sam’s surgery.

I’ve been in a get things tidy mood.  And finally found my bedroom closet.  *snicker*  Did you know that those little plastic things in your closet are for hanging clothes on???  I’d rather forgotten.  *giggles*   I can see the floor, and things are *gasp* actually where they belong.   And it all only took about 20 minutes with some kiddo help.  Of course in the process I managed to drop a picture frame, and break the glass in it.  (GROWL)  I walked away from it ’cause I was gonna scream at somebody or cry.  I have to sweep it up later….when I’m ready to cope with it.    Baby steps and all.

I currently have about 7 bags of stuff to go to Goodwill thanks to my cleaning sprees over the last three days.  This is a VERY good thing.  And gonna sort through my sweaters and make another one later tonight.  (I hope)   It feels good to par stuff down.  (again)

Okay then, gonna go hit refresh at Bereleth and see if I missed anything….

  • Good afternoon,

Spent yesterday posting, and recooping.  AF came, for which I was ecstatic.  And just was lazy.  Towards evening being lazy paid off,  and found some energy.  I used said energy to get rid of some excess junk that I’m slowly sorting through as a result of loosing my storage.  toddler sheets that I have an abundance of due to having so many toddlers for so long.  Feels weird to know that most of my kids are in twin size beds these days.  Material I will never sew.  And pure GARBAGE.  LOL

Three bags of garbage, two to sis (the material)  and one to Goodwill.  NOt bad for an hours worth of work.

Today, I kicked my very loving hubby out.  He needed it.  He hasn’t had a break in way too long, so he’s out bike riding.  He’s doing a 21 mile loop, and will come back revitalized, and saying wow! I feel awful, and it feels so good.  He’s weird that way.  *snigger*

Had a charrie make me drop my jaw and almost pass out on the boards today.  ROFL.  Apparently rings are contagious this week at Berelath.  *giggles*    I think Barbara’s still in shock over Ymir…..

Rainee Grace has pneumonia.  Its been a whole 5 months.  *snort*  But we caught it early, and the new oral steroids are working.  *grin*  So I’m thinking this will be her mildest case yet.    Had to up her oxy to 1.5 liters last night, but she’s off it in the day time, and only being rescued every 4 hours, so all in all not bad considering who we’re talking about.

Figuring out where to parcel the kids.  Was gonna take Rainee with me, and my mom told me I couldn’t.  LOL.   Kaylin and Rainee will go to my moms, Zeria back to my sil’s…and gonna put Mari at Karla’s (my sis)  Hopefully this works out ok…

Poor Sam he’s very sad that once again he doesn’t get to spend the night at anybodys house.    I’m thinking when his surgery is over we will let him spend the night at grandma’s just ’cause he can.

Gonna redecorate xanga today…so be patient its gonna be ugly for a bit. *grin*

  • I had fun with paint.  But fooling with this for about two weeks, and kept deleting it.  But I *think* I got what I wanted it.  DH looked at it and knew where it was…so criticize away.  LOL
