Two down one to go.
Well I'm back from the Seattle run. I had fun visiting with jabberjaws...otherwise known as Kaylin Joy the Medium Sized Big Girl. Who only comes up for breathes when absolutely forced to. Wow does she talk.
Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
three specialists.
The neural development doctor,
The sleep doctor,
the pulminologist
They've all in the last month recommended Rainee get her tonsils taken out. So we headed today to the ENT doctor. It was *supposed* to just be a formality. i.e. See the surgeon before the work is done.
Surgeon says. No! no! no! I will not do this surgery, this child does not need the surgery, she could end up in ICU with a tube down her throat for nothing. She is fine. Her tonsils are normal size.
bla,
bla,
bla,
bla,
bla,
bla.
Gotta love doctors.
But why?
*snort*
Soooooooooo I guess unless I get some more compelling reason to fight for it, I'm not gonna. The pulmo had said it was a long shot to fix Rainee's apnea, but one she thought worth it. But ENT will NOT do it. Fine with me LOL means one less trip to Childrens.
Tomorrow have Rainees *cough* 'healthy' baby checkup. Can never say that without choking...calling Rainee healthy is just rather a oxymoron. Will ask Dr. Weller what he thinks about the fact that 3 recommended and one didn't the one who counted. He worked there before going into regular practice, so I trust his opinion. And I think I'm done with Childrens Runs. There's just no point right now.
Things are status quo. NO medicine changes, no health changes, pulmo has said no new tests needed, so what is the point of all the money and time and energy of the runs? Gonna ask Dr. W. that too. He's probably headed for a headache after I visit. *giggles*
Soooooo now I'm looking for mischief on the boards. hehehehe And watching my children be their normaly persnickety selves.

I keep wondering what tonsils are for.
Sometimes I wonder what doctors are for.
I know what God's for. *giggles and hugs you*
I never had my tonsils out . . Mark had his out ~ Still snores rrrrargh.
*HUGSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS*
Very much in awe of you. I have one set that is 9 months apart and one set that is 14 months apart.... don't think I would be sane if both were 10 months apart.
