  • welllllllllll life

    ummmmmmmm  my oh-so-loverly hubby has been stranded.

    101 had a huge mud slide and the road is closed.

    112 has a river running down it literally.

    No idea when he gets to get home as they are LITERALLY the only two ways home.

    Its gonna be a LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG weekend at this rate, as the rain has to let up before they'll even consider trying to fix either of them.

    Update;

    Well my logger father is gonna go drive up the river.  *snicker*  He commuted that road for 25 years.   And it won't be the first time he's driven up the Pysht.    If that doesn't work...or the road department catches him.  *giggles*  He knows logging roads that he can go get my hubby on.    I looooooooove my dad.  So about noon I *should* have my hubby.   Oh and ummm, could you pray that the two idiots are safe while they do this little rescue from Clallam Bay?  Thanks

    Third update;

    My dad made it fine.  The river had gone down, but nobody had bothered actually driving the road to find that out.  (go figure)  Of course now my dh is gonna be the laughing stock of the family for a good month.  My dad knocked on the door, yelled, and so on of the motel, and Rob slept through it.  *snicker*  He's gonna sleep through the rapture!  Anyhow dad left a note saying the river was  down, and eventually Rob woke up and came home.    The adventure is over....for now.   It's still raining insanely hard, so who KNOWS when its gonna stop!
