  • Okay so I was bored....And a sucker for peer pressure.

    Here ya go take my test

    Oh, and I bombed Dee's test sooooooooooooooooo badly.  I took it a second time.  ROFL  Did much better the second time.  hehehehehe

    And I'm quite proud of myself for the results on Zanzivous.    *giggles*

    This is entirely too much fun reading the results.  *giggles*  Oh and big hint...Catherine is NOT me.  *snicker*

    Was even more bored and made one for Catherine,  I suspect most of my r/p friends will do much better on this one.  *snigger*  Though I could be wrong.......

  • testing, testing, 1, 2, 3, testing!

                            Look I got pictures.     I resized, and put them in a different file, and well here they are, and why it worked I absolutely do NOT know.  *snicker.  But here we have my blonde sisters.  I didn't think they looked a lot alike until I took this picture.  *grin*

                                                                And an upside down Sam on our neighbours rope swing.  Goofy boy.

      And the maples in our neighbours meadow.  It was a gorgeous day on Saturday...and yes that's how long its taken me to get these up.  (roll eyes)

    And here we go...Zeria & Samuel.   It was a bit chilly, so she borrowed mom's sweater.  Of course that left me chilly, but that's what moms are for right?

    Yeah I got my pictures up!

    Oh, and then for a major giggle...

    Zeria informed me tonight that they are all done the Headless book in Awana, so they don't have to wear a special color any more.....

    UMMM, that would be wordless book, not headless.  ROFL

    So apparently Kaylin didn't like the looks of dinner.  *snigger*

    I filled her plate, put it in front of her, and began to fill the next plate.  She looked at it, and said.  "May I be excused please get down?"  *snicker*

    I absolutely can NOT upload pictures.     It will look like its uploading for about a minute to 2, and then the picture upload window goes to server can't be found.  I've done everything I can think of, and put in a complaint to xanga, but haven't gotten any response.  grrrrrrowl!

    Kaylin is being rather a whiny clingy thing these days.  And today decided not to go to play in the gym during Bible Study.  She wanted to stay with mommy.  I asked her why don't you want to play...her response.  "Cause mommy I yike you."  (like)  Well, couldn't argue with that..

    Also heard from Kaylin this week in her most exasperated frustrated voice.

    "Mom, when is heaven gonna get here?  I'm soooooo tired of waiting."

    She is just full of it these days.

    Finished cleaning up the attic at church.  (Our churches clothes give-away program)  It's nice to have it organized again.

    Well one last try with the pictures, and then I just plain give up.

    Okay, make that two last tries.

    #$@*(#*@)(#*  got that out of my system.

    Rainee Grace is begining to say a few words.    One of her favorites is bump.  Go figure.  Why is this a big thing?  She says its very clearly, unlike others that we guess at.  I apparently say bump a lot *giggles*   HMMM totally bizare. I got a picture to upload.  Now WHY did it work????  I went to a different file and found a scanned picture.   weird.

    So in case your wondering this is my Canadian Grandma in her garden about five years before she died.  Its rather a cool picture I think.

    She goes greedy and tries for a picture that is in the file that for some reason doesn't like me.  Wondering if I didn't shrink it right or something???

    Well how bizare.  Still can't upload from my Kodak Picture File.  Guess I'll go resize them, and try again.    Are you bored of me whining about this yet??

    And that didn't work either.  So, I can upload a scanned picture, but not one from Kodak, no matter how I edit it.  *sigh*  HMMM how about a different day's file?  *snicker*  Okay getting a little obsessive here.  I get this way with computer problems.  try, try, try again.

    no go.

    I quit.

  • whine

    Okay just a little one.  Kinda dragging this afternoon.

    Made several mistakes on posts in the last twenty-four hours.  Two Fred notes is a new record for me.  (roll eyes)  Bangs head on computer.

    Did I mention that while I was doing these posts...and apparently not concentrating on them either.  My children took the paperwork that was already to send to the lawyer for Jamari's adoption was cut up with my scrapbook scissors?    I *think* their rescuable...but was so angry about it all, I haven't really dealt with it yet.  Besides I've been busy pretty much ever since then.

    Rainee had a BAD night last night.  And I kept incorporating her alarms into my dreams rather then getting up and checking on her.  Make note when you here alarm either sleeping or awake check on the baby.

    Have to do Awana tonight.  Hopefully somebody is their to visit with tonight.  Last week was borrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrring, as I was the only mom.  Was wishing for a laptop.  *snicker*

    hmmm great now I can't even get the pop-up window to open to browse for a picture...I guess you guys just don't need to see pictures.  Gotta love my premium xanga

    So I was bored last night what can I say. And please tell me why I can't get a picture to go up? I have these lovely ones. And I keep getting an error.

  • Okay its time for some funnies.  I forgot to blog one.  Which is still making me giggle.  And a couple others that have just happened recently.

    So first one of this mornings.  Was attempting to dress nekky Rainee who had just gotten out of the tub.   She was not cooperating as per usual.  She headed out of my reach.  And I said.  "Hey, where's your naked butt going.  She stopped.  Looked at me.  Bent down and touched her privates."  And gave me this look.  You know the one.  "My butt is where its always been thank you very much."

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Dressed said child.  In a very cute blue and white dress complete with bloomers, and pinafore.  Mari was dutifully impressed.   Rainee be'au'iful.   She got horses on her.  Rocking horses.  Forget the details of the outfit.  If its got horses its a hit with Mari.  *giggles*
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    But the true giggle happened at the corn maze.  Oh my goodness did Sam get his.  He kept running too far ahead on the corn maze.  And we lived in fear for over an hour that we would loose him for good.   Anyhow we knew my mom was out in the yard and pretty much figured she would stop him, so at the end when we knew we were headed down the exit we kind of gave up.  He got way ahead of us very quickly.  We chased after him as fast as we could with 3 tired toddlers.  And got out just in time to see him heading into the 'cemetary'.  "Samuel Eugene come here. "  I beller in my best mom public voice.  He ignores me.  Samuel Eugene come now.  I repeat.  HE continues to head towards this man sitting in a cage.  He wasn't a real man some kind of plastic critter thingy.  Well he gets right close to the monster.  Completely ignoring mommy and daddy.  And the plastic critter in the cage starts shake rattle and rolling.  Its almost dark.  And this apparently terrified Sam.  HE SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAMS  I'm sure half of Sequim heard him.  And runs pell-mell tumble bumble for mom.  He didn't leave my side the rest of the evening.  ROFL.   Best discipline he could have ever received.  And I didn't have to come up with it.    Had a very hard time feeling sympathetic with him....*snigger*

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Oh one more after I hit submit *giggles*  Dh's favorite funny of the week.  He was helping Kaylin play with the paint program on the computer.  Keep in mind she's THREE.   They drew little people together.   And Rob *thought*  he was drawing each of the kids  Anyhow Rob was doing "So, do they need eyes,  what else do they need, kind of parent talk."  And Kaylin says.  "They don't look right they need boobs!"  ROFL  Something he never never wants to talk about with his daughters.  *giggles*
    I love my children.  *snicker*  Except of course when their completely wearing me out.
    .......
  • Good morning
    Rainee Grace slept in.  And REAL sleep in.  Until 20 to 8 this morning.  And *gasp* so did the other kids.  I was absolutely shocked.  Okay Rainee nursed at 4 am.  But that was done 98% asleep.  *snicker*  And BOTH of us BOTH of us got to stay in bed until 20 to 8.  This folks is a red letter day in the last 18 months.
    hehehehehehehehehe
    Soooooooooo probably the reason is we went to the corn maze last night.  We found all 7 points in the maze.    And had a lovely time.  My mom and her munchies were there, and my brother & sil & his munchies.    My mom petered out, and left her kids (quite old enough to take care of themselves)  on their own, and my brother & sil & our gang ended up going together for 4 of the points.  The deal is if you get all 7 you get a Sunny dollar to spend on the snack shack.    Which meant of course 5 little bags of candy.  *snigger*  And 2 apple ciders.
    Kids have a great time.  I did take a couple pictures.  And I'll upload them later.
    Sad point.  The corn maze had so many misbehaving children the week before, that they almost had to close down.  So this week on the Friday night their was a sheriff standing at the entrance, just to remind the pre-teens/teens without parents, that their were rules.  How sad is it that a family entertainment can be made a mess?
    Anyhow, it was a lot of fun, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
    Had a unexpected visitor yesterday.  Alicia stopped by on her way home from ils.  We had a good visit, and her kids wore mine out quite a lot.    Wearing out is ALWAYS a good thing.  *snicker*  You can do that anytime you want Alicia.
    When I was growing up stopping by at a friends house was normal, people stopped at my parents house and stayed for a visit all the time.  Only Alicia does it, and I miss it.  Its much more fun having unplanned company.  You don't have to clean, you don't have to feel guilty for your house that looks like 5 kids lives in it.  *snicker*   And you can just relax and chat.
    Anyhow after the week of hell, I guess God is giving me a week of peace.  Its nice how he does that.
    On another tangent.  I'm very concerned for a couple online friends.  Divorce, new baby, and dealing with the fall-out of divorce.  Life is just hard some days.  Know the five of you that I'm praying a lot.   And wishing I could just hug all of you in real life.
  • Gave Catherine another face lift.  *snicker*   I'm emininently satisfied with this one.    Of course I'll have to change it again in a couple weeks again...if only to change her name just a bit.  hehehehe
  • morning
    Rainee Grace *gasp* is sleeping in.
    The world has just ended as I know it.  *snicker*
    She's been sleeping in until 5:20 or so.  Well she woke up then, and I pulled her in bed with me and nursed her.  She was so relaxed after she got done, that I thought I'm too tired I'll try laying her down.  She fussed for about 30 seconds and an hour and a half later is still asleep.
    Of course this WOULD mean I was still sleeping except my other 4 were quite perturbed when their was no mother up at 7 am.   Soooooo I dragged my tail out of bed for them.  *yawn*   And now hubby is home, and I could go back to bed except I don't want to wake Rainee Grace.     Oh well, soon.
    So I tried to blog 3x yesterday, but wanted to do pictures, and they wouldn't go up.  Guess you don't need to see those ones.  *snicker*
    Bible Study today.  I'm so inclined to just stay home....its just been go, go, go, and I need a home day!  But its a small group and I would very much be missed, so I guess I'll go again, and I know once I get there I'll enjoy it.
    Rainee's robee shoes came, oh their so cute, and she loves them.    Plus I think their gonna work (gotta be practical too LOL)   She climbed in them and everything and they didn't slow her down.  Gonna watch her walk a bit closer today and see if she's limping or not.  If she is p/t has said we can order a lift for her shoe  their only $55 so I think we will do that.
    Still planning on going goofy and writing a novel in a month.  *snicker*  Even have a lot of my story plotted out.  (in my head alone)  It probably won't get done, but it will be fun to try.   And give me something to do in the evenings when hubby's at work.    I'm gonna try my hand at fantasy.    I have a historical novel plotted out, and researched never wrote a word of it.  *snicker*  Just got inspired a few years back, and I would love to write it some day.  But I want to do that one well, sooooooo I'll wait.
    Their is a man in our church whose father logged on the Pysht Tree Farm in 1917-1923.  This is btw in the middle of nowhere even know.  Anyhow he courted his wife by walking on the beach ten miles to Clallam Bay when their were low tides.   I have access to these journals if I want them.  And it would be a lovely story about a logger, romance, etc.  His father lived in tents through a four foot snow storm, where they had to make path ways with shovels to get back and forth between them, and so on.  Just fun.    Someday maybe that one will get written.
  • Two down one to go.
    Well I'm back from the Seattle run.  I had fun visiting with jabberjaws...otherwise known as Kaylin Joy the Medium Sized Big Girl.  Who only comes up for breathes when absolutely forced to.   Wow does she talk.
    Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
    three specialists.
    The neural development doctor,
    The sleep doctor,
    the pulminologist
    They've all in the last month recommended Rainee get her tonsils taken out.  So we headed today to the ENT doctor.  It was *supposed* to just be a formality.  i.e.  See the surgeon before the work is done.
    Surgeon says.  No! no! no!  I will not do this surgery, this child does not need the surgery, she could end up in ICU with a tube down her throat for nothing.  She is fine.  Her tonsils are normal size.
    bla,
    bla,
    bla,
    bla,
    bla,
    bla.
    Gotta love doctors.
    But why?
    *snort*
    Soooooooooo  I guess unless I get some more compelling reason to fight for it, I'm not gonna.  The pulmo had said it was a long shot to fix Rainee's apnea, but one she thought worth it.  But ENT will NOT do it.   Fine with me LOL  means one less trip to Childrens.
    Tomorrow have Rainees *cough* 'healthy' baby checkup.  Can never say that without choking...calling Rainee healthy is just rather a oxymoron.  Will ask Dr. Weller what he thinks about the fact that 3 recommended and one didn't the one who counted.  He worked there before going into regular practice, so I trust his opinion.   And I think I'm done with Childrens Runs.  There's just no point right now.
    Things are status quo.  NO medicine changes, no health changes, pulmo has said no new tests needed, so what is the point of all the money and time and energy of the runs?  Gonna ask Dr. W. that too.    He's probably headed for a headache after I visit.  *giggles*
    Soooooo now I'm looking for mischief on the boards. hehehehe  And watching my children be their normaly persnickety selves.
