  • I had a lovely giggle today.

    My crazy munchkins.

There was some kind of be-bopping music in the dollar store.  I was there to get laundry detergent, tooth paste, that kind of thing.

Anyhow all the kids were behind me and I was giggling with Rainee who was shaking her body to the music while sitting in the cart and dancing to the music.  (Okay I'm weird I KNEW that *snicker*)

Anyhow I turn around 'cause the kids are giggling and all four of them in the middle of the grocery store aisle are doing some kind of hip-hop dance in the aisle.

It was just so funny.   And all I could do was GIGGLE!

    Oh for a cam-corder.

  • Hello!  I don't know what hospital my sister's at...she lives in Bremerton so it's a local one there.  They are home now actually.  The x-rays and EKG and whatever else they did didn't show anything, they were all normal.  And from what I'm hearing it's happening very little.  It only happened 2 times while they were there and neither time it set off the alarms that were monitoring her breathing so whatever is causing it, in fact it sounds like it's barely noticable looking at her if you don't happen to catch it as it happens.  I don't know what the possibility of it's just her trying to regular her system still?  She's only 4 days old.  And if it was reflux would it happen more often and after she's eaten or something to connect the 2?  Apparently my sister is o.k with it since nothing showed up, they'll just keep an eye on her and see if anything else surfaces.  But it still seems weird to me that she'd turn blue for no reason too, even if it is so slight of a difference.  And she was a bit blue at birth, but the nurse didn't seem concerned--it wasn't severe enough to warrant any major concern and isn't uncommon I guess--again it wasn't enough to set off any of the monitoring things they were using.  But that wouldn't be from reflux though--she hadn't eaten anything yet.  I guess I could ask my sister when it happens, if there is a pattern as to the timing that might point to something.  I do know the baby is nursing well, my sister isn't having the problems she did with her first one as much so that seems to be going well.
