  Ended up having an impromptu picnic at my parents house.  All of the siblings and grandkids were there.  It was low stress and relaxing.  No sibling squabbles or grandkid squabbles.  Which considering the amount of people all includes is quite incredible.

  
  

  All includes for those who are counting.  9 brothers and sisters, 3 spouses, my parents, and 10 grandchildren.  hehehe.  My 17 year old sister is headed off to college and it was our last get-together with all of us together for awhile.  She's not going super far away.  about 5 hours, but its still a major change.  The first of my parents second family growing up.  I could get emotional if I let myself *grin*

  
  

  The 17 year old that came to my parents a 7.5 year old hyper poorly treated little girl trying so hard to be an adult.  Blonde with brown skin, required to do all her own hair, not knowing how,  required to do so much, and having in her seven years having had 7 "major" homes and several transitional ones.  Ours was her forever home, and she knew it and wasn't gonna let go for anything.

  
  

  She has been for the most part a Major angel with only several small rebellions that were relatively minor.     She IS my sister heart, soul and mind, and if anybody tries to infere differently man do they back down fast. 

  
  

  Somebody tried today...it didn't work.  *snicker*

  
  

  And that in this last week she works here is the message I want her to remember.  I don't want her headed to college thinking she's being abandoned by us.  I want her to head their victoriously knowing that we are routing for her to succeed.  And loving and praying for her.
