And the love affair continues...

   The van's mysterious blurp and stop repeated.  Of course it had to do it while DH was at work.  And I'd for once actually TOLD my kiddos what we were gonna do, so now their bumbed 'cause we were headed to the beach.  Instead we got to walk 3/4's of a mile in the heat (for us heat) up the mountain.  Me pushing a baby stroller with mari & Rainee in it.  Kaylin trying desperately hard to be "brave".  And HD and Princess being reminded not to loose sight of us.  LOL

That's one way to get exercise.  And now the van is NOT getting his love affair satisfied, 'cause I'm NOT calling the tow-truck.  We're gonna let it sit over night and see if it starts on its own.  

Soooooooo no nap, no help, and no way to distract the kids.  Well I did fill the wading pool up, but they can only do that so long.

I had a fairly decent sleep last night, and the sun is shining, so life is good.  *grin*

Headed to the beach this afternoon with a couple of vising aunties.  And life moves on.

Sitting here amazed as to how much junk can be fit into one little tiny computer drawer.  Its no wonder it wouldn't shut.  I think I could get a prize. 

and several ewwwwwww how did that get in there items as well.  ROFL

Oh hey there's my toothbrush,  I'd wondered where it had gone.....

3 day old chocolate chips any one?

Today I feel like crap.  I'm exhausted, and whiney, and would love a nap.  But instead I'm sitting at the computer while some of my kids nap, so that my DH could go play with my brother.

I'm the one who "forced" him to go, and I'm regretting every minute of it.  I want to bawl I'm so tired.

But instead.  I bring the sacrifice of praise to the house of the Lord.

~I'm thankful that DH has somebody to play with.

~I'm thankful DH got the new shift after 3.5 years of praying he would get Sundays off.

~I'm thankful for the good SS class I had.

~I'm thankful for the flowers that DH brought me this morning.

~I'm thankful for a goofy RP board that lets be blow steam in a safe way.

~I'm thankful for a daughter who ran out to the car to get me my Mountain Dew.  (I NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED IT!)

~I'm thankful for the Western Tanager that appears to be nesting near by.  (That btw is the name of the bird I was describing Craktpot.)  Here's a link to see it. 

~I'm thankful for God allowing me to be a witness of joy in trials. 

~I'm thankful for oxygen that allows my daughter to breathe at night.

~I'm thankful for the money to hire somebody to watch my kids so I can sleep.

~I'm thankful I waited 10 years to get married and KNOW I have the right man.

~I'm thankful for the varying green trees outside my window.
