Say Cheeze
Its Rainee bug at her favorite activity taking everything out of her toy basket. Does she look like a girl with pneumonia? Of course not. snicker. And I've heard that comment multiple times, nobody quite believes me that's she's sick, not even the doctor until he saw the X-ray.
Doctor's actually feeling sheepish he called yesterday to see how she's doing. And made us MORE nervous (if that was possible) He's NOT entirely sure it IS pneumonia 'cause what they found in her lungs was a bubble or a blip (are these professional terms?) Soooo I guess we worry until Thursday when the pulminologist can look at it.
Hey look its a picture of a boy. SNICKER. Its James. Isn't he just too cute. He was just totally into posing for the camera this time.
He has gotten so easy to take care of. It is a pleasant gift from God, after the first year of terror.
So yesterday afternoon in a moment of insanity we decided we were sick of being cabin bound, and were gonna drive to the mountains. Loaded up and headed out. But DH started getting sick. He was CONVINCED he was gonna throw-up. And looked like it too white as a ghost. So we stopped at this look-out and mommy and the kids went explorin' for a bit, while daddy stayed with Rainbug. In the way background of the original picture you could see Mount Baker it was gorgeous. But the picture did NOT turn out. So instead we see the monkey's with their eyes closed whats up with that?
We hiked a small trail (like less then 500 feet) And saw this view. Wasn't it beautiful?
And this shrub intrigued me. Okay so its not my normal picture, but it was beautiful in the middle of winter.
So after that exploration we decided to turn around and head home. My kids were TICKED. And Rob still looked horrible. We hadn't gotten anywhere close to the original destination. Of course Midge needed a potty break, so we pulled over daddy gets out helps her. And he says I'm startin' to feel a "bit" better.
We have to stop for gas a little bit later. He says he's feeling good enough to get it. He gets out gets gas. I'm completely frustrated that our adventure bombed. And over how whiney the kids were etc. I head inside to get a mommy treat. (kids don't deserve one. ) Come back out and Rob looks 100% better. He says he's fine now, and he doesn't know whats wrong.
We decide to get take-out pizza (papa-murphys) and go home.
So the question is WHY did Rob get so bad sick, but then it just went away. I wonder if maybe it was God's way of protecting Rainee. Probably taking a pneumonia baby up to high elevation wasn't one of our brighter moves.
So that's my theory. Its better then the other one I had~~that we're never allowed to have fun.
Rainee is doing teensy bit better today. (I think) Except for the fact that she puked the prevacid ALL over my clean shirt. Okay no problem. She apparently doesn't like the new med.
Okay no problem, it will dry, whats a mommy shirt with out a little bit of baby present on it. (YUCK) So, I head over to get dinner going in the crockpot for tonight. (turkey) Open the turkey and manage to get blood ALLLLLLLLLLL over me. ROFL snicker, and GROSE. Its gonna be a long day huh? Can I go back to bed now. And let the kids care for themselves????
Have a great day all. And if your baby starts gagging, turn her head the other way. Oh and if your opening meat....do it over a sink! SNICKER

The pictures are beautiful as usual. I wonder often if I will ever have a shirt stay clean all day. I ahve become accustomed to wearing baby spit up.
Hope Rainee is all better very soon! She's beautiful! Great pictures! Hope Rob's illness stays away!
Hee hee...My 1 year old had reflux for the first Oh, say 7 months of his life...I didn't leave the house without cottage cheese on my shirt until August...

Hope Rob and Rainee get to feeling better.
