  • Good morning

Just finished getting involved in a virtual snowball fight (hehe)  And there's snow outside too.

The Princess was very concerned when the snow started yesterday that we wouldn't be able to sled 'cause Auggie (the pony)'s fence was in our sledding hill.  She went on and on and on about it.  I finally told her we'd take out a fence post if it snowed enough.

So this morning she woke up made 'cause we don't have 'nough snow to actually sled.  LOL

We just have enough to make the hill treacherous.     At least I know when we get a half mile down it, the snow will be all gone.   Gotta love living in the foothills.

Kids finger painted in jam, and then lied about it.  (How do you lie about it when your shirt is covered in jam?????)    Oh thats purple paint mommy, un huh that's why theirs seeds in it.    This kid raising thing just doesn't ever get easy does it?   So the two oldest have lost their right to play without being seen.   (natural consequences)   So their stuck like glue to me, and if I go out of sight i.e. bathroom, or my bedroom they have to come with me.  Its not fun, but then neither is cleaning up jam.

My toe is starting to itch a little bit, I'm hoping that means its healing.  It still looks VERY red.    I'll find out tomorrow whether its broken, not like they can do anything about it, but it satisfied the doctor to get it x-rayed.  Oh and also if the infection went into the bone, which is what they were really worried about.

So the doctor pulled the nail off, and lanced it.  (YUCK)  And I'm on heavy dose antibiotics to try to cure the nasty infection.   Currently I'm soaking it in salt-water.  Isn't life grand?   What are the odds of having one normal none-accident/sickness week?  In a house of 7 I suppose they are pretty low.

Zeria's asthma has taken another down turn.  She's coughing and coughing and coughing.    So I'm betting the Singulair is NOT working.  So we will go back to the doctor for her.  Poor thing she coughs so much she thinks she's gonna throw up.    Rainee's asthma is also sliding downhill.  So maybe they can go to the doctor together

Just so you know before I was married.  I NEVER NEVER NEVER went to the doctor.  I was extremely healthy.  And can count on one hand the visits I went to the doctor.  Was actually rather terrified of doctors.  God has a sense of humour.

Father God, I ask for safety today on the icey roads.  I thank you for the new place to play.  And for my children.  i ask that you would help me train them to honor you, and to be a LOT less destructive.  In your sons name, Amen

  • Hehehehe. Well it was fun talking with your answering machine. ROFL. I was just dying of laughter when I hung up. We ended up having ice cream at the DQ across from the Landing there on the waterfront.

I love the bubble-blowing baby graphics! So cute!

And I must say... the girls haven't done jam finger paints yet... *crosses fingers* Yet.

Stay safe on the icy roads today.

    *hugs*

  • Oh my goodness girl!  I'm sorry to hear about your toe AND about the girls' asthma. I'm praying they outgrow it.  I did for the most part, and had it horribly as a child.

Thanks for the info on how to put up a graphic for my background on Xanga.  It was very clear!  You're the best!

  • ugh about the jam. praying the girls feel better soon.

  • Sounds like Rachel...she tries to blame everything on the dogs. LOL  If my dogs could really do the things she has said they did, I'd be rich! LOL
