  • Yesterday was a fun day

We at the last minute decided to dress the munchkins up.  And they thought that was very cool   We then let them trick & treat at 3 places.  The local mom & pop store, my sisters and my moms.  They got way too much candy from those 3 places.  LOL

Then we went to our planned event.  The school halloween carnival.   And it was a lot of fun.  Lots of games and every time you win a candy or 6.   Soooooo my kids are now officially sugared out.

Afterwards my sister came over and baby-sat while we went out for dinner.  She's gone this weekend, so because Rob is still on "vacation"  we decided we better take our kid-free time when we can.    We had a leisurely dinner at India Oven.  It was so nummy.

And then went to Safeway and picked up a couple things.  Actually had fun there too.  We were surfing the meat aisle looking to see if they carried lamb.  And low and behold they had the nastiest things their.    The worst?  Pigs feet.  I don't mean pickled pigs feet in a jar where they leave the hooves off.  I mean pigs feet skin, hooves everything.  I was soooooooo grosed out.  And Rob and I laughed and laughed about it.

    It feels good to laugh!

We then headed home~~but our van died.  So we spent the next half hour sitting in a cold van waiting for my dad to come rescue us.  If my dad is still rescuing me at 31 years old....ummm when do I  get to quit worrying about my kids.  Ok I know

    NEVER !!!!

Rob is now on his way to meet the tow truck, and he can take the van to the shop.  And HOPEFULLY it will be fixed this afternoon.  We have a Chevy Astro van.  Its been an awesome very reliable vehicle,   except about once every 6 months the serpentine belt shakes off.   And yep it did it again.  UGH!

On the Rainee front.  We are both worried.  Her cold is very bad.  And she sounds AWFUL.  Probably the worst she has.     And she's crying a lot, and basically wants to be held non-stop.

Sooooo when Rob gets back back to the doctor I go.

I will also deter to the Bible Bookstore, because there's a book I want to get.  I saw it there a while back, but was low on money.  Now I'm just getting it wether I have money or not.  Its called Parents of children with chronic diseases.  I skimmed parts of it, and it was very good.  I think I need it right now

  • Sorry Rainee's not doing so well.    Glad you had a nice day yesterday!!

  • Praying for Rainee and all of you!

The picture is so cute. The kids look like they really enjoyed dressing up!

  • Hope (((Rainee))) fills better real soon!  Then the Momma will!  About that belt: why not replace it at 5 months and 28-29 days??  We had a car with a characteristic boo-boo like that--uncle aways recommended preventive.  What a cute bunch of tricky-treaters! What cuties!  BTW, thanks for the dh advice--I *laughed out loud!*

  • They look soooo cute.

I hope Rainee feels better soon.
