God never moves without purpose or plan, When trying a servant or m olding a man, My Father knows best and he gives us sweet rest, in darkness he brings us a song.  So rejoice in the Lord, he makes no mistakes, he knoweth the end of each path that I take, for when I am tried, and purified, I shall come forth as gold.  (Song I learned at college)

  • I climbed Mount Everest

Okay actually I went on a 6 mile bike ride and lived to tell about it.  hehe  I'm so proud of myself.  And I was pulling the bike trailer with two bambinos in it.  And I DID IT!   I may become a normal active human being after all.

Now if I could just find the bottom of the clothes hamper.

Sorry no pictures, was too tired to take them.  But here's a picture from the bike ride I took on my date night.

It was such a gorgeous night that night

And such a man to spend that evening with

Poor man I was nasty to him today.  He got to be a little boy in a candy store today and go to the opening of Big 5 Sporting  Goods.  He's been looking forward to it all year.  He just forgot one thing...his wife and 5 kids whom he took into the store.  And I was left chasing all 5 of them on my own.  And I was already tired.  I was not a nice wife for a few minutes--when we got back to the safety of the van

Fortunately he's forgiving and we move on.

Tomorrow we hang around home doing the boring stuff like laundry etc.  But we NEED a  day like that.  Besides I have a ton of muscles that are shouting at me reminding me how they exist, and how they've been ABUSED!  snicker

God's grace shown today?  I was so tired when we got to the end of the trail.  But I knew that Rob had to ride back to the head of the trail to get the van (the whole 6 miles back)  I knew that it would take him at least 30 minutes to get there.   That meant watching the kids by myself at the park.  Every bone in my body hurt, and I didn't have anyway to put Rainee down...no blanket nothing, and its pavement at the park no grass.    I was wondering how in the heck I was gonna manage to hang onto my 19 pound chunky monkey for that long.   when who should come out but 2 single girlfriends of mine who were just returning from a restaurant.  They immediately had to glom onto the baby (of course)  And ended up standing and visiting with me the WHOLE time I waited.  I never had to deal with Rainee.

Don't get me wrong I love her, but I HURT.  LOL   And instead of bouncing and jouncing her I got to make goo-goo eyes at her from a far, and have good adult conversation.

God's grace played out in the small things.
