  • The fall schedule begins today

Wednesday will be the day to GOOOOOOOOO lol

We have soccer practice at 2:45 come home for about an hour and a half and then go back for Cubbies.

Monday we will have soccer practice.  Saturday soccer games.  And Bible Study has been moved to Thursdays.

Fortunately soccer is only a month and a half long, so we can survive that.    Besides I thinnk soccer will be VERY VERY good for Samuel...and Zeria will enjoy it too.

I am for whatever reason the kids soccer coach, but at that age level it doesn't amount to much, and I'd already be there anyhow so hopefully it all goes smoothly.

I'm struggling these days in how to convince Princess not to be so emotional.  She gets soooooooo mad and soooooo upset.  And it makes it impossible for us to function.  Shes a very good girl in every regard except for her bubbling over emotions.  If she's this way when she's five what the heck is she gonna be like as a teenager?

James is starting to talk   He has about 30 words now.  I'm so excited as Kaylin was such a LATE talker.  They get in "word" wars. hehehe  They'll be sitting in their car seats and James will say up! and Kaylin down! and then their started...up! down! up! down!  hehehe.

Kaylin has a major fetish about where things belong.     She just walked up to find sister's shoes NOT in the shoe box.  And asked if she could put them away.    I'll keep her!!!!

Zeria and I worked together and she learned how to fry eggs.   She thought that was very very very cool.

Yesterday we had a history lesson.  We drove to a Army bunker and explored it.  And talked about why it was built etc.   And conveniently their happened to be a nice sandy beach right beside it....so then we played in the beach for a hour or more.  It was very lovely.  And we learned our letter for the day by writing it in the sand.    And finding r things on the beach.  Like, Rocks, and Rob     I like that kinda school!!

All and all life was wonderful yesterday.    We ended it by having our date night.  Where we really enjoyed just visiting and some kid free moments.  And we proved we have the "zing" still in our relationship.  We were waiting in line in Walmart.  And were kissing each other and staring in each others eyes.  And apparently the world stopped turning.  The Wal-mart employee had to come around and ask us if we were ready to buy our stuff   Their was no one behind us to get us moving...and I think she was tired of staring at the big futon box and not being able to charge us for it.  ROFL  I thought Rob and I were gonna die we were trying sooooooo hard not to laugh.

Oh my somebodys getting big!  Kaylin just picked a very nice matching outfit out and brought it over to me and ask if she could get dressed.  Yeah!  Now if I could just figure out how to get HD to match his clothes........

  • you sound so busy and enjoying your family.  I have found with D being emotional I offer her an alternative.  e.g. if M. told her to go away and she got upset, I say "next time don't get upset - jsut say NO" or somehting - Hope YKWIM.  Basically I give ehr soemthging to do or say so that she doesn't feel she had no control over herself or the situation... HTH

  • I'm glad yesterday went so well.

I do hope the kids enjoy soccer.

  • I love reading stories about your children!!!
