Good afternoon
My kids are mostly still napping. We had a nice Sunday. Stayed for potluck and everything.
Last night we took the kids out to our favorite "fancy" restaurant to celebrate the 4 years. I was talking to Zeria as we were waiting for the food..."Isn't this special I asked." She answered...nah not really
Gotta love kids honesty.
The kids and I and my sister went to the park. My sister is umm in todays venicular a hotty.
Some poor sap at the drive through at McD's got COMPLETELY mocked by us as a result. He tried playing Mr. Unobvious while scoping out the babe in the seat next to me. By putting his head out the window and looking around to see if their were any cars coming (He was NOT the one working the window) And then discreetly (at least he thought so) Checking out the babe in the van. Oh my was he silly looking. ROFL!!! After he got back inside sis said "I wonder if he's aware of HOW FOOLISH he looks?" We busted up laughing and laughed for over 5 minutes. I guess you had to be there....
We also did the Wal-mart thing. UMM the HD be my helper thing did NOT work.
Nor did any other of the ideas. So we made HD ride in the cart which he thought was CRUEL and unusual punishment. But oy with their being 5 attempted abductions of kids in the last month in my state he can NOT be allowed out of my sight so squished in the cart he went.
After dinner last night we took the kids to Dairy Queen. And they each got to have their very first Sundae. They thought that was the ultimate in coolness....could have skipped the fancy meal LOL...except MOMMY wanted prime rib

Getting inspired to do some painting in the nursery at church. I know, I know I do NOT need another project...but I LOVE to paint...and the nursery's about 2 years over due for it..... If I did it I would do some kinda mural thing in it as well. Any ideas???

It's hard for little kids to understand that something is for their good. Heck, it's sometimes hard for grownups, too! But these are crazy times in which we live, and one must do all she can to protect her children.
