  • Well I guess the D&C is scheduled for Friday.  My pre-op visit is tomorrow.  My parents will be keeping my kids.  *sigh*  I'm glad I have breastmilk in the freeezer!  If any of you xangites have had a d&C could you tell me how it went how long it took to recover, etc.

    TIA

  • I had one with my last miscarriage and it was a piece of cake.  I was fine by the time I got home.  Not even sleepy, really.

I'll be praying for you, but I know you will do just fine.

  • I just spent forever catching up.  Congrats on your new baby
sounds like you have been bizzzzy!!

  • I'll be keeping you in my prayers.

  • My hemmoraging 2 weeks after my youngest was born resulted in a D & C. The recovery from that was easy. It was the recovery from the hemmoraging that was tough (lack of energy and such). Your levels are not going to improve overnight, I don't think. But, your situation is different than mine was. I probably did not help much :sigh: If you have any questions, e-mail me and I will try to answer them

  • I'm afraid I don't know a thing about D&Cs, but I will be praying for you. ((()))

  • I dont know anything either, but I will keep you in my prayers.

Glad you got out and enjoyed the day with the kids!

  • I had one between my second and third children because of a miscarriage. The only problem I had was with the anesthesia but I have that problem with any surgery. You'll be fine! Thinking about you.

  • I also had one between my kids due to a miscarriage, and aside from the circumstances, it went really well.  I recovered better than when I had my wisdom teeth out even! lol  It wasn't nearly as bad as I expected medically speaking.  Good luck!

  • I had one after I lost a baby after 20 weeks pregnancy. The placenta wouldn't come loose.

    It all went very fast.
    No pain after it.

    I needed iron afterwards.
