Hip-hip-hoooray! Rainee is now 5 weeks old, and I'm actually starting to feel human!
I did my bi-monthly grocery shopping trip today without Rob to "mommy-sit" and did quite fine.
Zeria & Rainee came with me. Rainee because she's attatched to my milk supply
And Zeria because she's been having some trouble with attitude and I figured some mommy time would help. It did
Zeria asked about five gazillion questions. And one answer propagated 15 more questions and so on and so forth. OY! I told her she was making my brain tired. She just laughed and asked 6 more questions.
We discussed why men go to jail (in great detail) Rob works at a Correctional Facility so that's why the fascination. And many many other things. It was kinda fun because I didn't have the other kids bopping around swirling my head up so I could concentrate on conversation with Zeria. And for the most part Rainee slept so it didn't feel like she was hardly with us.
We went to Goodwill today and I managed to get summer wardrobes for 3 of my kids. Kaylin was pretty set and didn't need much, and Rainee has all of her clothes. (too many lol) So that was fun. I love coming away with this mongo bag of clothes that I only spent $30 on

I had an emotional meltdown last night. Long story. And called Rob in tears. He just let me cry over his shoulder. And I was doing the I'm a bad parent thing etc. Well after he got off the phone Zeria came down stairs (she was supposed to be asleep) And said very very seriously Mommy, I need to tell you something. She came right up to my nose and gave me this big hug and said you are very very special mommy! AWWWWWWWWWWWWW
Father God, thanks for bringing me so far in the recovery process. I thank you for your love, and your grace in your sons name Amen!

Zeria sounds like she is wise beyond her years, yet still curious and willing to learn. no matter how booksmart they are, as long as they know how to make other people happy they will succeed
