  • Its spring!  Its spring! Its spring!  My daffodils are blooming.  Though not nearly as impressive as other years thanks to the lovely late snow.  Rob mowed the lawn and our yard actually looks good again

So I was playing with my picture edit program & some pictures I took of my daffodils and outhouse.   Tell me which one is your favorite?  PLEASE???  I enjoy doing this...but am a rank amateur...so would love "critical" opinions.

  • Morning

Its sunny again today..but quite cold.  Rob decided for unknown reasons to turn our ceiling fans off so the downstairs is absolutely FREEZING this morning.

Our kids are cranky and clingy as a result.

Okay I'm cranky too.     I'm very ready to be DONE being pregnant.  I'm tired.  I'm tired of hurting.  I'm tired of the lack of energy.  And I'm a drag on society right now.

We had a relaxing night last night....so why am I so grumpy this morning?  To be figured out at a later date.

We went and saw the Rookie with Dennis Quaid in it.  It was quite good.  No language, no sex...just a clean family oriented movie.    I had these lovely contractions all the way through the movie...fell asleep having them when I got home.  Unfortunately they weren't strong enough to do anything.  I had stronger ones at 25 weeks.  Just HURT kwim?  My stomache felt like I was on fire...and my pain tolerance level is non-existent.

I'd like to do some vigorous exercise and get things going.....but I don't have the physical strength to do that.  If I don't have the physical strength to go for a walk...do I have the physical strength to give birth.   That is the question I'm trying so desperately hard NOT to focus on.

Father God, I need you today.  I'm grumpy and irritable.  I want to be able to do things, and I'm just so tired.  I'm tired of being tired.  Help me please Lord.  Thank you for the sunshine outside it will be good to get the kids into it.  Thank you for Jamari's smiles this morning...at least somebody is!  Thank you for the money needed to buy a lawn mower.  Thank you for your love.  In your sons name,  amen

  • Good morning   Its a gorgeous day outside today.  And ALL my kids are better   Kaylin slept through the night with just one wake up...that was quickly solved.   And we are gonna go play at the beach today.  Its "Saturday" in our house.  And yes we have a TON of things we should be doing.  But we don't feel like doing ANY of them.  So we're not.  We're headed to the beach!!!

Kaylin was feeling good enough that we ended up sneaking over to grandma's for Easter dinner.    And of course I took a ton of pictures.  Here's everybody in their Easter finery

It was so nice yesterday afternoon...and I took way too many pictures hehehe.  But I'll be good and not share all of them just my favorites.

The first is my boys.  In their matching suits.  Samuel was SOOOOOOOO excited when I found these.  Mommy can we get these for Jamari and me they are so cool   He's right they are.

This picture...welll its just good for a REALLY good laugh.  Gotta love Samuel.  PBBBT  May he make you smile today

And here's Kaylin looking for Easter Eggs.  She did quite well.  But petered fast.  Which isn't suprising considering how sick she was.  She ended  up cuddling with grandma afterwards.  But thats ok she had fun.

This is Zeria in her Easter dress...and the hoard of eggs she found.  Samuel didn't find near as many because he would ONLY pick up the plastic ones with candy in them.   The rest were "icky"  hehehe.  But Zeria she didn't care she understood the game in it.

And well...this picture HAD to be posted...because well it had to be.  CAn we say EWWWWWWWW.  Jamari put a whole chocolate Easter egg in his mouth and let it drool.    And man did he think it was good.  Fortunately his shirt had ALREADY been removed so no stains for mommy to remove today.  hehehe

Easter ended up being pretty nice after all.  My parents came & took the big kids to church.  And my sister asked if she could take Jamari too.  I said go for it.  So Kaylin and I just crawled back in bed and tried to make up for some of the sleep we've lost over the last couple days.  When we woke up she played with Dragon and I sat and watched She's all that (it was all that's on lol)  And cuddled with each other.

About 11 o'clock I decided her fever was still gone....so we would get ready to go to grandma's house.  And we thoroughly enjoyed that.  My sil & her girls were there...bro was working.  And my sister & her hubby and daughter and son were there.  So it was a full house.  And we all got along...no squabbles.  Which was a lot of fun.  It was just low key and relaxing.  Gotta love the "perfect" day like this.

Hopefully today we have another perfect day...we're in need of a couple before the baby's born.

Oh do you need a laugh???  Saturday night I decided that Kaylin was just sooooo sick that we were gonna take her into the emergency room.  So Rob stayed home with the big kids and I took Kaylin in.  Pulled into the parking lot next to a cop car....and bumped the cop car as I was parking!!!        It was all I could do to not start bawling.  I was already exhausted beyond belief and that was just what I did NOT want.  The cops were very very gracious.  Let me take Kaylin inside and start doing ER paper work.    Followed me in for the info...told me it was no big deal, but it had to be reported.  And no fine, ticket etc.  Though I'm sure our insurance will be getting a "dent" bill.  *sigh*    I sat in the ER for 2 hours waiting and a waiting and finally realized it was gonna be at least 2 more hours...and decided forget this and went home.    There was like 8 people in front of me and it was just NOT worth it.    Good thing she wasn't dying.  Besides...there were some pretty scarey people in the emergency room.

Father God, I thank you for the sunshine today.  I ask that it lasts.  I pray that things go well today and that we have a relaxing time at the beach.  I thank you for your love for us.  In your sons name, Amen
