Good morning

In the words of Snoopy....It was a dark and stormy night. Wind, rain, rain, wind. And Rob had to go rescue our lawn furniture just as it tried to roll onto the county road. Our poor puppys were NOT impressed. So they got to sneak inside for the night as it was raining sideways and we felt sorry for them. Sooooo then of course they decided that they need to have a tussle match UNDER our bed. We were NOT happy. Finally we locked them into the entryway. Where they trashed a book. *sigh* Still trying to figure out how they got it.
Kaylin was our wake-up baby last night. And she was not not not a happy camper when she woke up. NOrmally if she has a nightmare or something I can just nurse her for a few minutes and Rob takes her back to her crib. No way no how NOT at all. We tried that twice. We tried tylenol. We tried letting her sleep with us. (HA!) And finally back to the crib. Poor Rob he had to go to work at 3:30 this morning. I bet he's dragging his tail.
On top of that we have wind whipping around our house. Which always makes it so easy to relax and sleep.

Oh well another night another attempt at that illusive thing called sleep.
I got all my laundry done (FINALLY) And yes I sorted the dreaded socks
We have this huge basket full of missing socks.  And about once a month (when NOBODY has any socks)  I drag it out and sort and sort and sort.  LOL  The kids did help a bit....but its kinda hard to match 6 versions of white socks when all thats different is the ribbing.
Rob and I now have new socks. And all the same. It is sooooooo much nicer to sort those. So I'm thinking next pay day I'm gonna close my eyes and throw 98% of the kids socks away. (Except the lacey dress girls socks) And get a gazillion pairs of socks that ALL look alike

Okay onto bigger and better things. I keep forgetting to share Zeria's funny when we were down at the waterfront on Friday. They were playing in the play ground while daddy was unloading the big wheels & joggers. And their was a little boy their. Zeria stepping out of herself decided to introduce herself. His name was Tristan (name changed of course) Hi Tristan she says. Tristan this is my brother Samuel (where did miss manners come from??? mommys wondering
)   And then Kaylin walked over.  And this is my sister Kaylin.   She doesn't look like me.  (Zeria continues)  But that's ok God made her that way and she's still my sister.

Mommy runs to hide her head some where so she can laugh hysterically. I guess Zeria's got the color thing all figured out huH???
Bil showed up to do some more mudding. One more day and hopefully he's done. He's a perfectionist so of course he keeps picking away at little spots. I'm NOT a perfectionist. hehehe. I just want my bedroom BACK! Sooooooo maybe I'll tell him it looks great next time and he can be done
Which of course would horrify him
My sister has been over each time Bil has been. And we've really enjoyed that. And of course I've enjoyed playing with baby Sarah
I was telling her I didn't have a bathrobe to take to the hospital cause I couldn't find anything that wasn't old ladyish.  Well she's a MAJOR seamstress.  So she went to Walmart on Friday.  Found material and sewed one for me last night.  Isn't that cool
So I'll pick it up today.
Well, I gotta get a bunch of babies/kids in their Sunday best. So probably should get off now.
Father God, I thank you for this new day. I ask for us to honor you in it. I pray that you will show me how to teach Samuel gentleness with Kaylin and patience. I thank you for the time with dh last night. IN your sons name, Amen

I love Zeria's comment about her sister. I'm glad you got a nice robe to take to the hosptial. I hope you can use it soon.
well, what a great blog!

Yeah I hope you can use it soon too!
Funny how large families all seem to have a similar approach to the sock sorting dilemma.
I always love reading your blogs. They always remind me to thank God for all the little things.
