  • Good morning

Well lets see.  I was up every 1.5 hours to go to the bathroom.  Which wasn't as bad as the night before I think that was every 45 minutes.  Kaylin was awake at 10:15 and 2:15 bad dream, or hungry or somethin.  That was a tad annoying.   But hey its part of the parenting job right?  And Jamari was awake at 3:15.  So how much sleep does this mean I got.

    not very much!

Ok got that out of my system.  Just think soon I'll add a newborn to this mix.  Can anybody tell me what 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep looks/feels like...I'm very curious

Well it poured yesterday so Rob didn't get to go on his bike ride. (again)  I told him the quickest way to make the weather bad was announce he was going on a ride with my brother.      He agreed.

But this was a good thing for my house.  As he finally finished putting the trim up in the bathroom between the floor & the drywall.  I just figured the house would always be trimless there   And go figure I was so unawake when I got back from town I didn't notice...and he was wewy disgusted with me.  LOL

So, I did my bi-monthly grocery shopping in the late morning-afternoon.  And survived.  Its getting harder and harder for me to drag my body in and out of vehicles.  LOL   And of course I got into the bread thrift store only to realize I had NO check-book and their one of the rare breed that does NOT take credit/debit cards.  So had to get back into the car go find a ATM machine get out of the car to use it, get back into the car drive BACK to the bread store, etc, etc     All the while saying, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb to myself.  hehehe

I have a puppy sleeping on my feet.  And Zeria is calling, "here puppy, here puppy"  Should I tell her where he is or give the poor thing a break.  SHHHH don't tell poor things deserve a break from these guys sometimes.

Kaylin and Samuel both had to get new shoes yesterday.  So Kaylin is currently running around completely naked wearing ONE of those new shoes.  hehehehehehe   And Samuel is stomping around in his new cowboy boots singing.  "Got my cool boots on, Got my cool boots on."  Glad I made them happy.

Today is Bible Study.  And I haven't studied.  HMMM that probably should be what I do next.

I went to the midwifes last night.  Was really hoping to get my cervix checked.  But as I pulled up to the clinic I saw her walking across to the hospital.   Went inside and found out somebody was at 6 centimeters and I would NOT be seeing the midwife after all.  *sigh*    I'm glad that lady was having her baby, but the absolute last thing I wanted to do last night was get up and go out again.  It took me a half hour to get my shoes on and convince myself to stand up to go out.     Okay I was tired what can I say.  The nurse did the weight check (I'm still doing fine)  And listened to the baby.  Baby's heart beat is ranging from 120-150's.  NO clue there as to wether its a boy or girl.   So that was that.  I guess I didn't NEED to know whether I was dialated just would have been encouraging if I was kwim?  Oh well.  moving on, moving on.

BOTH of my midwifes are out of town today and tomorrow to a conference 4 hours away.  They have a oncall midwife who I worked with last pregnancy but have not seen this pregnancy at all as she's semi-retired.  So I would rather NOT go into labor today or tomorrow.......except I really, really really want to see this baby.    God's timing is perfect.  I will not scheme or plan whats gonna happen.  Just go with the flow (like I have a choice )

Father God, I thank you for this day.  I ask that Bible study goes well and we are all an encouragement to each other.  I thank you for your love for us.  And I ask for your peace to reign in this house.  In your sons name, Amen

  • Eight hours of sleep... wouldn't that be nice? *g*

    Take care.

  • 8 hours of sleep? Sorry can't help you there.

I hope that you have a nice day.

  • My baby is five, and still rarely allows me an uninterrupted night of sleep.

This may sound odd, but I'm glad that you don't know the sex of your baby. I didn't know what any of mine were until they wer born. That's the way it always was until recently...and the surprise was so wonderful!

  • Sorry you didn't get to see your midwife. Glad the pregnancy is going well.

    Praying for a healthy baby!
