Jamari's birthday was a success
He had lots of fun and was spoiled rotten. God gave him an extra blessing in that their was too much snow for his big bio bro & sis to go to their basketball game. So they got to come to his party. For those of you new to the site, or who missed it somehow. My parents have adopted a sibling group of 6. Their youngest 3 siblings are our children. My parents were just getting too old to take any more, and I had always wanted to adopt. So I adopted as a single mommy, but God had mercy on me and quickly reminded Rob to come visit. The long version is back quite a ways in my blogs. I'll link you to it some time when I'm patient enough to go find it LOL. Anyhow tonight mom got sentimental or something which RARELY happens for her. And wanted a group shot. So here we go.
I was blessed to be nanny for the 5 oldest monkeys until I adopted my children. Number 6 came to my parents house shortly after I received Sam & Zeria. (long complicated story--very confusing etc etc) The monkey above Samuel in the blue t-shirt with the flowered kerchief on was my first baby. Though she is technically my moms daughter. My parents have 9 children in total. 6 adopted, 3 biological. I'm the oldest of the whole motley crew.
And oh yes I'm VERY bossy
My poor mom ended up having too oldest children, and 3 babies. As theirs a HUGE gap between her youngest biological child & her oldest adopted child. They adopted when my brother and I were in college. My parents are insanely busy people. Who have struggled with a lot since adopting this crew. My dad went from somebody who was quite well off financially to someone who has been fighting off bankruptcy for the last 2 years.
Yes, I'm extremely proud of my family, and love them dearly. As do all of my parents "first" family. And we would fight to the death if anybody dared pick on any of them. Thank you God for my family

Tomorrow I will blog with pictures of Jamari's birthday. But I had to share this first. It is very special to me.
