  • Good morning.  The sun is shining outside today.  I folded 11 loads of laundry yesterday and vaccuumed.  The house is reasonably clean.  There are a few things that could be done--and I may putter on them.  But you know what my main plan is??  To sit outside and watch my kids play.  I suppose I should feel guilty about it....but I don't

    3
"God blesses those who realize their need for him,[9]
for the Kingdom of Heaven is given to them.
    4
        God blesses those who mourn,
            for they will be comforted.
    5
God blesses those who are gentle and lowly,
for the whole earth will belong to them.
    6
God blesses those who are hungry and thirsty for justice,
for they will receive it in full.
    7
God blesses those who are merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
    8
God blesses those whose hearts are pure,
            for they will see God.
    9
God blesses those who work for peace,
for they will be called the children of God.
    10
God blesses those who are persecuted because they live for God,
for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.
11"God blesses you when you are mocked and persecuted and lied about because you are my followers. 12Be happy about it! Be very glad! For a great reward awaits you in heaven. And remember, the ancient prophets were persecuted, too.

Thoughts for the day.  I couldn't pick out a favorite Beatitude.  So I'll let you see them all.   All though my heart was partial a bit to the first one this morning.  God blesses those who realize their need for them.  Wow do I recognize that need.  And I'm glad I have the gift of Heaven waiting for me   Definitely something to celebrate!!!

We got a phone call from our Adoption Agency yesterday.  And Rob's Criminal background check has finally Cleared.  YEAH YEAH YEAH!  But, unfortunately they decided we needed the tb test after all.  (SIGH)  I hate paperwork.  So Rob had already had his--and we faxed it to them yesterday.  But my primary doctor did NOT want to give me one when I originally asked for it, because of being pregnant.  So we called around and asked a BUNCH of people and they all said it was fine.  So tomorrow I'll go to the health department and do it.  I could do it at my regular doctor--but I'm not in the mood to deal with their receptionists yet.

We also got a letter from "james" case worker.  He's legally free to place on their side.  The second our side is free we can have him.  (HURRY< HURRY< HURRY)  Actually part of me is glad I'm getting over most of the morning sickness before we introduce another member to this family.  So I'll just trust God to be in control.  Even so though, I'm gonna call the Adoption Agency today, and bug them.

I'm (dreaming) that we'll have him by the end of October.

Kaylin finally got the flu bug.   And she didn't cry or anything.  (SIGH)   I don't know if she threw up last night when babysitter was here or since we got home.  Because whenever it was she didn't tell us.  And I"M FEELING GUILTY!

She slept all the way through the night--until 8:00 this morning.  That NEVER happens.  And she was sick, and needed to be cleaned up.  I know how could I know--but I'm a mom I still feel guilty.

So first thing this morning she had a bath.  And I she has a nasty cold.  But hopefully the sunshine will just help her.  And she can nurse as much as she wants in the day time so that will help too

Father God, I want to do your will today.  Wether its to enjoy the kids, find work to putter at or whatever.  Allow me to trust you.  And to not snap at my family.  And please help Kaylin to get better soon.  In your sons name Amen
